Jon Abrahamovich is LaSalle's Managing Director and Head of Intermediary Distribution with oversight of LaSalle’s Private Wealth Group. He brings more than 25 years of experience serving in numerous sales management and leadership positions within the investment management and wealth management industries including key leadership and national account roles at Invesco, Van Kampen and Morgan Stanley after beginning his career as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Jon is an active member of the Securities Industry/Regulatory Council on Continuing Education and the National Speakers Association (NSA). He is a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC), and holds numerous securities industry licenses. Jon has degrees in Finance and Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and has completed Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Julian Agnew is Head of UK and CIO - LaSalle Direct, with overall responsibility for the direct property UK business and clients. He acts as a contact point between Research & Strategy and the Fund Managers, working closely with the former to identify themes and trends across the UK property investment markets, while working with the Fund Managers to help shape and position portfolios appropriately to deliver outperformance within the context of each mandate’s individual risk-return requirements. Julian has served as a member of the Investment Committee since 2006 and is also a member of the European Management Board.
He joined Jones Lang Wootton Fund Management in 1988. His areas of expertise include taking on portfolios which either have structural risks or have underperformed their benchmarks, implementing both transactional changes and exploiting opportunities to add value throughout the investment process. In addition, he has extensive experience in transitioning portfolios from Return Seeking Assets to Matching Assets whilst maintaining performance and offsetting risks.
Julian is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a Certified Person under the FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime.
Ms. Allen is responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management of the Fund ensuring that investment is executed in line with the Fund’s strategic and return objectives.
Notable prior experience: Senior Fund Manager in the Aviva Investors’ Real Estate Multi-Manager team; Portfolio Manager at BlackRock, Senior Property Analyst at Alecta; Analyst then Research Manager at Investment Property Databank (now MSCI). Catriona has over 23 years of experience in the real estate investment market. She holds a BA (Hons) from the University of London and an MA from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. She is a member of the Investment Property Forum and a member of the INREV Management Board.
Alexandre Arhuis-Grumbach is the Transactions Manager for Encore+, responsible for overseeing all acquisitions for the Fund. He joined LaSalle in 2010 working as a financial analyst on a Pan-European Value-Add fund and was subsequently an acquisitions manager in France.
He earned a MSc in Civil Engineering from French school ESTP, a MSc in Real Estate Management from Glasgow Caledonian University. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
As head of LaSalle’s Global Marketing and Communications, Nayda is focused on building the firm’s reputation, developing stronger client insight and relationships, innovating marketing approaches and ultimately fostering the growth of LaSalle. Nayda is responsible for LaSalle’s global brand positioning, client events, creative platform development, digital marketing and social media, public relations and internal communications. Nayda has held various leadership positions with BNY Mellon Investor Services, BlackRock and UBS Global Asset Management.
Nayda holds a MBA from Imperial College London and a BA from University of Damascus.
Steve Bolen joined LaSalle in 2000 to establish the firm’s US medical office investment practice. He has overseen the acquisition of medical office investments valued at over $2 billion made on behalf of the Medical Office Fund series, LaSalle Property Fund, JLLIPT and various custom accounts.
Before joining LaSalle, Steve served as Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer of Healthcare Financial Partners REIT where he oversaw investments in medical office buildings, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Steve holds a BSc in Finance from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has also completed extensive coursework in real estate valuation through the Appraisal Institute.
Jean-Christophe Bourreille is Head of Acquisitions in France and brings over 27 years of real estate experience to his position.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Jean-Christophe was Managing Director of Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management Immobilier, the subsidiary in charge of real estate asset management. During his time there, he was involved both in acquisitions and sales as well as strategy and asset management of the €850 million portfolio. He was also involved in the merger between CLAM Immobilier and UNIGER (group Crédit Agricole SA) between January 2004 and September 2004.
Jean-Christophe is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
James Boyd-Phillips is Head of UK Retail Asset Management. His primary role is to act as the liaison between the fund team and the asset management team to ensure the creation and implementation of LaSalle’s business plans. He also enhances the relationship between LaSalle and many of the key retail occupiers to ensure the future performance of the clients assets.
James has been with LaSalle since 2010 where he was recruited as National Director and Assistant Fund Manager for one of the larger pension fund mandates. He moved into his current role in April 2013. James’ prior experience has included development, investment and funding in some of the UK's most successful niche real estate organizations.
He holds a BSC (Hons) in Land Management from the University of Portsmouth, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and the IMC from the CFA. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Roberto Carrera joined LaSalle as European Head of Financing in 2012. Since then, he has overseen over €5.3 billion of borrowing and debt arrangements for LaSalle across multiple European jurisdictions, several asset classes and investment styles. Roberto has over 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial real estate finance across Europe, having worked in Paris, Madrid and Munich. He is fluent in German, English, Spanish and French.
Before joining LaSalle, Roberto worked as a Director of Global Workout at PBB Deutsche Pfandbriefbank in Paris, and as Director of Credit Risk Management at Hypo Real Estate in Paris and Madrid. His responsibilities covered structuring and underwriting over €1.4 billion worth of commercial real estate loans across Europe, to finance the acquisition and development of a wide range of property types including office, retail, logistics, hotels and residential. From 1996 to 2002 Roberto worked in various corporate finance departments at HypoVereinsbank in Munich.
Roberto holds degrees in economics and business administration (Dipl. Volkswirt & Dipl. Kaufmann) from The University of Kiel. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Adam Caskey is a Client Executive with the Client Capital Group. His primary responsibilities include working with the firm’s institutional clients and prospects in the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic sections of the US to understand their investment needs and be their advocate within LaSalle. Adam brings over 25 years of client service and marketing experience in the financial services industry. Adam also assists and provides market input in the development of direct real estate products.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Adam served as Vice President with The Manager Funds, and directed their marketing efforts covering the US.
Adam earned a BGS from Ohio University.
Yen Tang Chae is the Fund Controller of several co-mingled and separate account mandates, as well as handling the treasury functions of LaSalle’s Asia Pacific funds. Yen Tang joined the Finance team in 2004, taking responsibility for the financial reporting and liquidity management of several co-mingled and separate account mandates. He also assists with selected fund and project level financing.
Yen Tang has over 18 years of experience in financial reporting and has acquired a range of financial market skills over the years, having worked as an auditor and as a product controller with an oil company and a bank.
Yen Tang holds a Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours and a minor in banking and finance from the Nanyang Technological University. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Yen Tjin Chan is a Regional Director and is a member of the Fund Management team for the LaSalle Asia Opportunity Fund Series. In this role, she is responsible for working with the Fund Manager to deliver fund performance from acquisition through disposition. She is also responsible for overseeing and executing all of the operational and reporting functions of the funds.
Yen Tjin joined LaSalle in 2003 and has worked extensively in different disciplines of institutional real estate investment management including finance, treasury, asset management, portfolio management and investor relations.
Yen Tjin graduated with Second Upper Honours from Nanyang Technological University's Accountancy department and is a Chartered Accountant.
Wendy Chang joined LaSalle's Singapore office in June 2014 as part of the Asia Pacific Regional HR team, looking after Australia, China, Hong Kong and Singapore talent and compensation matters.
Before joining LaSalle, Wendy started her Human Resources career with NeoPets.com, an LA-based online entertainment part of MTV Network/Nickelodeon Group, where she set up their Asia division. She then moved to Millennium Capital, a New York Hedge Fund, and then to DBS Bank, where she worked as HR Business Partners, focussing on talent acquisitions, resource management, compensation and performance management.
Wendy holds a Bachelor Degree (Hons) in HR Consulting with Nanyang Technological University and Master's Degree in Organisational Leadership with Monash University. She is currently pursuing her certification for the Singapore Institute of HR Professionals by the Ministry of Manpower and the National Trades Union Congress and Singapore National Employers Federation.
Chris Chow joined LaSalle in 2012 and is responsible for advising institutional investors in Greater China and Southeast Asia. He is currently managing a separate account for a global sovereign wealth fund from the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Chris was Head of Corporate Finance for Greater China at JLL where he was in charge of real estate investment advisory on joint ventures, debt and fund investments.
Chris received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from The University of California, Los Angeles as well as an MBA from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is active across academic and industry organizations and speaks as a guest lecturer on real estate courses at the University of Hong Kong and Tsinghua University. Chris also serves on the Alumni Advisory Board at the HKUST Business School and on the Jury Board of MIPIM Asia Awards.
Cornelia joined LaSalle’s European Client Capital Group in March 2017 and is responsible for client relations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Cornelia brings more than 15 years of industry experience to this role.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Cornelia worked before at UBS in different positions within the Asset Management and Investment Management business. She was involved in several national and international fund raising pitches for institutional clients.
Cornelia holds a diploma in business administration of the University of Regensburg/International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) with specializations in Real Estate Management and Economics.
Ben Collis is a Client Executive within LaSalle’s Client Capital Group. He focuses on creating and managing relationships with investors, clients and investment consultants from the UK, Ireland and the Nordic region.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 2019, Ben spent four years at Aberdeen Standard Investments, principally as an Investment Specialist working on business development and product management for the firm’s European co-mingled real estate funds. He previously served for 12 years as a British Army officer, having trained at Sandhurst.
Ben holds the Investment Property Forum post graduate diploma, the Investment Management Certificate and a MA (Hons) in Modern History from the University of St Andrews.
As head of LaSalle’s Global Creative Services, Alexandra is focused on the content services team, collaborating to define and evolve the brand vision, develop marketing strategy, define processes and systems, and develop/execute excite, empower, and engage initiatives; to steward the LaSalle’s brand voice and serve as lead designer on multiple projects; to lead the evolution of the LaSalle’s visual brand in partnership with design team; to manage a high-output team ensuring projects remain on schedule and are in line with project goals, budget and brand strategy.
Alexandra holds a BA in Architecture from Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urban Planning in Bucharest.
Michael Coulton is Head of Legal and Compliance for Europe. He joined LaSalle in 2007 as Global Funds Counsel and was appointed to his current role in May 2015. Michael has led the legal development and establishment of numerous LaSalle products and services.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Michael was a Senior Associate with King & Wood Mallesons (previously known as SJ Berwin) in London and K&L Gates (Sydney) (formerly known as Middletons).
Michael graduated with a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and an LLB from the University of Technology, Sydney. He also holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance (Securities Institute of Australia) and has completed the Investment Management Certificate (CFA UK).
Francesco Coviello is based in LaSalle’s Munich office, where he is responsible for acquisitions and asset management in Italy and Spain. He joined LaSalle in June 2008 and has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Francesco previously worked at Redevco for four years where he was responsible for the company's acquisitions and asset management in Italy. Prior to this, Francesco worked at Henderson Global Investors, where he was in charge of acquisitions for the Italy and Spain. He worked at Savills Italia where he gained detailed knowledge of the Italian and Spanish markets, helping national and foreign investors in acquiring and dispose of assets in Italy.
Francesco is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Chadwick Cunningham is a Client Executive within the Global Client Capital Group. Based in Chicago, he is responsible for building and maintaining capital relationships with institutional clients throughout the United States and representing LaSalle’s public and private investment vehicles around the world.
A 15+ year veteran in institutional real estate, including corporate development and corporate account sales, Chadwick was previously part of LaSalle’s Global Management Group reporting to LaSalle’s Global CEO working with senior leaders across all regions in developing strategy and implementation plans including merger and acquisition activities. Prior to that, Chadwick worked with senior sales leads at JLL to develop multi-million dollar real estate solutions for American, multi-regional, and global corporate clients.
Chadwick earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Speed Scientific School at the University of Louisville. He is a Trustee for Roycemore School in Evanston (Illinois), an avid University of Louisville athletics fan and supporter, and an “aspiring” runner having completed two marathons and six half-marathons.
Alfreda (Freda) Delle is the Managing Director, Deputy Portfolio Manager for LaSalle Property Fund, the firm’s flagship open-ended U.S. core fund and the largest commingled fund managed by LaSalle.
Since joining in 2009, Freda has successfully taken on roles with expanded oversight and responsibility. She was previously an SVP, Portfolio Manager and worked in LaSalle’s co-investment business since 2010. Following the acquisition of Aviva’s multi-manager business, the platforms combined to form LaSalle’s indirect investing division, LaSalle Global Partner Solutions.
Freda is a key relationship manager for some of LaSalle’s largest and longest-standing institutional clients. She has experience investing across a broad range of risk profiles and product types, as well as sourcing, underwriting, structuring and managing joint venture and partnership relationships with real estate operating companies.
Freda earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Commerce/Finance from the University of Virginia.
Yelena Diggs is a Senior Vice President for LaSalle Investment Management Securities. Her primary responsibilities include development and implementation of the group’s global strategy and product development program, with focus on North America and EMEA regions, consultant relationship management program and sustainability and socially responsible investing initiatives.
Prior to joining the firm in December 2007, she worked with the private equity group of LaSalle Investment Management where she was managing office and industrial assets on behalf of the firm's institutional clients.
Yelena recieved a BS degree (Cum Laude) in Business Administration from Towson University and completed a Masters in Real Estate program at Johns Hopkins University.
David Doherty joined LaSalle in 2006 and was appointed to the role of Americas General Counsel in April 2017. David is responsible for all legal and compliance matters in the Americas, as well as global legal and compliance matters relating to LaSalle Investment Management Securities.
Prior to joining LaSalle, David served as in-house counsel at Cboe Options Exchange where he worked on a variety of matters requiring interaction with the SEC, and participated in the creation of the Cboe Futures Exchange where VIX futures are traded. David began his legal career as a corporate law associate at Dow, Lohnes & Albertson in Washington, D.C.
David holds a BA and JD from the University of Notre Dame.
Adam Donahue is the Head of Separate Accounts for Asia Pacific. He is responsible for strategic direction and investment performance which includes joint ventures and club deals across the region. He oversees portfolio management and reporting functions with heavy involvement in acquisitions and asset management. Adam strives to connect international investors with real estate opportunities that achieve their investment objectives. Significant assignments have included the management of a Japanese retail strategy and an Asia-focused office value-add program. He is also focused on sustainability and future-proofing assets against obsolescence.
Adam has over 15 years of real estate experience and has transacted over $5 billion in equity and debt real estate investments covering multiple asset classes and across the risk spectrum. Prior to joining LaSalle in 2010, Adam was a Vice President in the Global Real Estate Group at Lehman Brothers.
Adam earned a BA degree from Boston University and is biligual in English and Japanese.
Paul Donovan joined LaSalle in 1989 as Portfolio Controller for a large custom account. In 1996, he became Director of the Investment Management Accounting group. This group is responsible for all phases of accounting, reporting and performance measurement for LaSalle’s commingled funds and custom account portfolios in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Paul was an auditor with a top-tier public accounting firm in Chicago.
Paul holds BSc and MSc degrees from Loyola University of Chicago and a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University with an emphasis in accounting. Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society. He holds a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement and is a member of the CIPM Association.
Alistair Dryer is Head of UK Client Capital for LaSalle Global Partner Solutions where he is responsible for all aspects of indirect investments including client management, investment strategy and allocation and management of underlying investments. Alistair has over 15 years of experience in the real estate market.
Alistair joined LaSalle in 2018, having previously been employed at Aviva Investors in their Real Estate Multi-Manager business. Alistair has transacted over £2 billion of investments and has been involved in the creation of a number of bespoke fund vehicles for clients. He has managed both separate accounts and fund vehicles for private and public pension fund accounts.
Alistair has an LLB (Hons) and MSc from Leicester University. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is registered as an Authorised Person by the FCA to conduct investment management activity.
Gregg Falk has served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of JLL Income Property Trust, an SEC registered daily valued perpetual life REIT, since November 2011. He is also a senior member of LaSalle’s Portfolio Accounting Group. Gregg has held other officer positions since joining the firm in 2004.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Gregg was an Audit Manager with Deloitte & Touche LLP for six years and a Senior Staff Accountant with First of America Bank for five years. He has worked on numerous real estate engagements, both public and private, since 1999.
Gregg holds a BSc in Finance and a BSc in Economics from Northern Illinois University and a MSc in Accountancy Science from Northern Illinois University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jo Fearne is responsible for the firm’s Asia Pacific communication and marketing strategy, working to enhance LaSalle’s strategic messaging, brand perception, thought leadership and communications across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Jo spent over 10 years’ in senior strategic marketing and communications roles across financial services, with the last three years concentrating on Asia Pacific.
Hank Feibusch is a Managing Director in the Due Diligence Group. His responsibilities include project-specific management of economic, physical, and environmental due diligence investigations as well as sustainability evaluation activities for LaSalle’s North American acquisitions. Hank has worked on acquisitions in excess of $10 billion in total asset value, including office, retail, industrial and multifamily assets, including numerous JV land development projects. In addition, Hank serves as a subject matter expert/advisor on capital projects on managed assets.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 2000, Hank was employed by EMG, a real estate due diligence consulting firm as Architectural and Engineering Field Manager, where he managed the performance and productivity of over 60 consulting architects and engineers working in remote offices throughout the continental US. Before that, he performed and managed hundreds of Phase I and II environmental property investigations for a variety of national clients. In addition, Hank introduced and managed an ISO 9002 Quality Management System (QMS) at EMG.
Hank holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as a master’s degree in real estate from the Johns Hopkins University, and is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP).
As Global Funds Counsel, Rachel leads the team responsible for all legal aspects of the fund raising life-cycle (from concept, to marketing, structuring, documentation and closing) of a number of existing and new products across LaSalle’s global platform, including structured products, clubs and commingled funds.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Rachel was a Senior Associate in the Financial Services Group at Dechert LLP.
Rachel has an LLB in Law and French from the University of Bristol and has completed the Investment Management Certificate (CFA UK).
Keith Fujii was appointed CEO for LaSalle in Asia Pacific in January 2021, having joined the company in March 2018 as the CEO of Japan and Representative Director & President of LaSalle Investment Management KK, the asset manager to LaSalle Logiport REIT.
He is a member of the Global Management Council, Asia Pacific Investment Committee and the board of directors of LaSalle REIT Advisors KK.
Keith has a distinguished background in Asia with over 28 years of real estate investment and banking experience building successful platforms in both equity and debt. Prior to joining LaSalle, Keith most recently served as CEO of Ishin Hotels Group. Keith also held senior positions at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Grove International Partners, Shinsei Bank and Lehman Brothers. In addition to his 20 years in Japanese real estate market, Keith has invested and created investment platforms in South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Spain, Australia, USA and India. He has also led acquisition efforts in China, Philippines, Singapore, UK and France.
Keith earned an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Irvine.
Mark Gabbay joined LaSalle in 2010 as Chief Investment Officer for Asia Pacific. In 2015, he became CEO of the region and is responsible for formulating and implementing LaSalle’s investment strategy across Asia Pacific, sourcing opportunities and overseeing the investment process. On January 1, 2021, Mark succeeded Jeff Jacobson as Global CEO of LaSalle.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Mark served as Managing Director and Head of the Asia Asset Finance Division at Nomura, and was Co-Head of the Asia Pacific Global Real Estate Group at Lehman Brothers, where he was in charge of the firm’s expansion into new markets for both debt and equity real estate investments. Mark also worked at GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corporation as the Head of Real Estate Lending for Japan in the late 90s.
Mark has a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
Tiziana Galassini is a Senior Managing Director of LaSalle and COO of the Client Capital Group, a team of over 40 professionals located in 12 offices around the globe responsible for client relationship management, capital raising and marketing of LaSalle global business. Tiziana is also a member of LaSalle European Management Board.
As part of her role, she is responsible for overseeing the coordination of new product development globally within the Client Capital Group. This includes the setup and launch of LaSalle sponsored co-mingled funds and club deals; she works closely with portfolio managers, Research & Strategy and the Legal and Compliance teams. her responsibilities include leading the planning process and tracking of LaSalle’s global capital raised.
Tiziana has 20 years of experience in the real estate and finance business, and prior to joining LaSalle she worked for 15 years in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley.
Tiziana received a BA summa cum laude in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
Jim Garvey is the Portfolio Manager for LaSalle Property Fund, the firm’s open-ended flagship US core fund and also the largest commingled fund managed by the company. Before his current role, Jim served as co-head of Acquisitions, where he oversaw greater than $10 billion in direct acquisitions and joint venture investments. Before joining the Acquisitions group, he served as a Portfolio Manager, managing a separate account that included both direct ownership and joint venture interests.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 1993, Jim was a Partner with Hamilton Partners, a regional real estate development firm headquartered in Chicago. He also worked in leasing and development for the Trammell Crow Company.
Jim earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSBA in Finance from John Carroll University. He is a member of both Urban Land Institute and Pension Real Estate Association and is CFA registered.
Rebecca Gates is Head of Asset Management, overseeing LaSalle’s UK Retail and Business Space Asset Management teams. Rebecca’s focus is to drive the implementation of Asset Business Plans and identify and exploit opportunities to add value. She liaises very closely with Client Fund Managers to agree and evolve investment strategy. Also, Rebecca is responsible for structuring and coordinating external suppliers including property management.
Rebecca joined JLL in 1992 and since then she has undertaken a variety of roles for a diverse range of clients including charities, non-UK organisations and private individuals; although the majority of her work has been for UK Pension Funds. Rebecca currently sits on the UK Management Board and is a member of the UK Investment Committee.
Rebecca holds a BSc (Hons) in Land Management from Reading University, and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor.
Alok Gaur is the Global Head of the Client Capital Group at LaSalle Investment Management in Chicago. He leads the 35 person global client relationship, capital raising, marketing and public relations teams. Alok helps lead new business development, investor relationships and product development around the world. Alok is also a member of LaSalle’s Global Management Committee supporting the development and execution of the firm’s business strategy.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Alok was a Managing Director and Partner at The Carlyle Group in Washington DC where he led the capital raising function for global real estate. Before Carlyle, he held senior positions at Greenhill and Co and Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Private Fund Group where he was involved in a variety of capital raising activities for funds and ventures pursuing various real estate investment strategies in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. He also worked for nine years at The John Buck Company in a variety of roles, and two years at Coopers & Lybrand in the Real Estate Advisory Group as a consultant.
Alok received an MBA and BA from The University of Chicago and currently holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
George Goh is responsible for acquisitions and asset management activities within Southeast Asia. George has over 12 years of experience in the real estate industry and has worked in various functions including acquisitions, asset management and portfolio management. Since joining LaSalle in 2005, George has completed US$1.5 billion of investments for the Asia Opportunistic Fund series and Asia Property Fund, which includes direct investments and joint ventures in office, hotel, residential and logistics standing assets and developments in Singapore, Thailand and Australia.
Prior to joining LaSalle, George was Head of Investments in Southeast Asia at Mapletree Investments.
George holds a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance, First Class Honours from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and is a CFA charterholder since 2006. He is a member of Urban Land Institute, Hospitality Asset Managers Association Asia Pacific and CFA Society Singapore.
Dr. Gordon is the Global Strategist for LaSalle Investment Management (LaSalle). He is responsible for the macro strategy and micro research used to guide all investment decisions in 30 countries. He serves on the Management and Investment Committees of LaSalle and directs the investment strategy group, which analyzes capital markets, regional economies and property markets.
Jacques received the “Graaskamp Award” from the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) for his contributions to real estate research and education. He originated the Jones Lang LaSalle Transparency Index in 1999, which has become the world standard for understanding international real estate.
Jacques received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Masters degree from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He also teaches “International Real Estate” at the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.
Jacques serves on the Boards of the JLL Income Property Trust, The Homer Hoyt Institute, The Institute for Urban Research at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Metropolitan Planning Council (Chicago, non-profit). He is active in NAREIT, PREA, the Urban Land Institute, and he is an honorary fellow of the Real Estate Research Institute.
Brad Gries is Head of US Transactions for LaSalle, a position he assumed in August, 2017. He leads a team of acquisitions and dispositions professionals that are responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing new investments and asset sales across the US. He also serves on both the LaSalle Americas Investment Committee, and the LaSalle Americas Board. Brad is an active participant in the firm’s capital raising efforts, and is directly involved in the formation and execution of joint ventures and large portfolio transactions, while helping to introduce sophisticated global investor clients with large U.S. investment opportunities.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Brad held leadership positions over the course of a 16-year career with Deutsche Asset Management, Americas Real Assets (“RREEF”), most recently serving as Managing Director, Real Estate Transactions. In this role, he led the acquisition team responsible for new investment initiatives in the Central and Southeast US, including investments in all property types and throughout the risk spectrum. Before RREEF, Brad held analyst and consultant positions at MB Real Estate and Arthur Anderson.
Brad earned a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois.
Marianne Hemon-Laurens is the Deputy Fund Manager for Encore+. She is responsible for overseeing the fund’s asset management, sales and fund business planning and client reporting. She as been part of the fund team and dedicated to Encore+ since 2009.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 2008, Marianne worked as a portfolio management and acquisition analyst on a large pension fund with assets throughout the UK.
Marianne earned a MSc in Real Estate from Reading University and BSc in Natural Sciences (Economics, Business & Geography) from Durham University in England. She is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
Kristy Heuberger is an International Director at LaSalle and is the Head of US Asset Management, as well as a member of LaSalle’s Americas Board. Kristy leads the asset management function across LaSalle’s US real estate platform, responsible for developing and executing asset level strategies and driving active asset management. Kristy is also a member of LaSalle’s Growth Through Inclusion Board, and chairs the Americas Data & Technology Strategy Committee.
Kristy has over 21 years of real estate experience including equity asset management, debt structuring/originations, debt workouts, operations, marketing/market segmenting, and process improvement. Prior to joining LaSalle, she held several leadership roles with GE Capital, including leading the Central Region Originations and US Equity Asset Management groups and as Chief Marketing Officer for the North American region.
Kristy earned a MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago and a BS in Accounting from Indiana University. She also holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
Rene Hoepfner joined LaSalle Investment Management in May 2016. Based in Munich, he is leading the Munich Client Capital Group Team and is responsible for LaSalle’s capital raising and client relations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He is a member of the Continental Europe Management Board.
Previously, Rene worked at Mercer Investment Consulting for several years, advising corporate organizations, pension funds, insurance companies and institutional investors on their real estate portfolio, alternative assets and strategic asset allocation. In addition to Mercer, he worked for several investment manager with a focus on alternative asset classes.
Rene holds a degree in Economics from the Humboldt-University of Berlin.
Samer Honein is a Client Executive within LaSalle’s Client Capital Group. He joined the team in February 2012 and is responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients and prospects in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as Azerbaijan, France and Belgium. Samer previously worked with LaSalle’s Acquisitions team, sourcing investments opportunities and executing acquisitions as well as developing Strategic Partnerships in France. Samer has 17 years of experience in real estate.
Prior to this, he spent four years as a project engineer in Lebanon then joined JLL’s Research department in Paris and covered roles in the Valuation Department and the Capital Markets team.
Samer holds an MBA from ESLSCA in Paris and a MSc in Civil Engineering from The Lebanese University, Beirut. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Angélique Houbre is responsible for Retail Asset Management activities in France. She joined LaSalle in 2008, and currently leads a newly formed team of three asset managers focused on managing retail assets as well as separate accounts. Angélique has over 23 years of experience in retail real estate management.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Angélique worked for Hammerson, setting up and leading the internal Retail Leasing department for newly purchased shopping centers. Before this, she was responsible for the development of international brands such as Pizza Hut and New Look across France.
Angélique received her master’s degree in business law and a specialized master’s in business franchising and development at Strasbourg University.
Simon Howard joined LaSalle in 2011 as Head of Asset Management for Australia. In this role, Simon develops and implements asset management strategies to maximize real estate returns for funds and other institutional clients. He has experience across a broad range of real estate sectors including retail, office, industrial, hotel, residential and retirement.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Simon was employed by Lend Lease for almost 15 years where he served in a number of capacities, most recently as an Investment Manager for the Lend Lease Core Plus Fund in its Investment Management division.
Simon has a Master’s of Applied Finance from Kaplan Business School and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney. Simon is also a qualified accountant and member of CPA Australia.
Steve Hyung Kim joined LaSalle in 2013 as Head of Acquisitions and Asset Management for South Korea based in Seoul.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Steve was Managing Partner at Bellevue Capital Management where he focused on cross-border transactions on behalf of Asian family offices. Prior to that, he was an Executive Director in the Asia Pacific Investment Banking Division at Nomura advising institutional real estate clients with corporate finance mandates; and Vice President of Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group focused on originating and structuring principal debt investments. Steve also worked at the Real Estate Opportunities Group at Deutsche Bank acquiring under-performing properties and multi-borrower loan portfolios after the Asian Financial Crisis in 2000. He started his career at Merrill Lynch in the US and interned at the United States Senate.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.
Mr. Imraan is a Managing Director in the Debt Investments & Special Situations team and the Fund Manager for LaSalle Real Estate Debt Strategies IV; he is responsible for originating, negotiating and executing transactions for clients and managed funds. He has a 15-year track record of working in real estate, structured finance and investment banking having been involved in originating over £7 billion of loans across Europe including UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain and CEE as well as structuring and distributing CMBS.
Since joining LaSalle in 2016, Mr. Imraan has originated and executed transactions for LaSalle Real Estate Debt Strategies II, III & IV and led the launch of LaSalle Whole Loan Strategies I and II (€900 million of committed capital). He has been directly responsible for transactions across the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and France and has been responsible for over €500 million of mezzanine transactions for the LREDS series and over €400 million for the LWLS program.
Mr. Imraan holds a Masters in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London and is a graduate of the 3-year RBS Future Leaders program. He has been in based in London since 2000.
Steve Inglis is a Portfolio Manager for numerous domestic and international separate account clients. His responsibilities include managing portfolios of office, retail, multifamily and industrial investments located throughout the US as well as the management of joint ventures between prominent institutional investors and operating partners.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 1991, Steve was employed in Atlanta with the Real Estate Investment division at MetLife where he was directly responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and asset management of joint ventures, equities and mortgages for a commercial real estate portfolio.
Steve is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in Real Estate and Finance and a graduate of the Executive MBA program at the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. He has spoken on behalf of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Real Estate Investment and Advisory Council and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers.
David Ironside is the Fund Manager for Encore+, LaSalle's Continental European open-end real estate fund. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Fund. David has held numerous senior positions for LaSalle across Continental Europe over his long tenure including Investment Officer of LaSalle’s Continental European Business, Managing Director of the LaSalle GmbH and Head of Strategic Partnerships in Continental Europe.
Prior to joining LaSalle David spent four years at Bayernfonds/Real I.S. AG, the subsidiary of Bayerische Landesbank, and was responsible for foreign acquisitions.
David holds a BSc in Land Economics with Commendation from Paisley College of Technology. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Jeff Jacobson serves as Chairman of LaSalle Investment Management and served as CEO from 2007 to 2021, responsible for a 750+ person team managing investments in both private and public real estate across all major markets within Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific region. Jeff is a member of JLL’s Global Executive Board, a member of the JLL Co-Investment Capital Allocation Committee and sits on LaSalle’s Investment Committees in all three regions.
Jeff is located in LaSalle’s Chicago office, having worked in LaSalle’s London and Singapore offices during his career. Prior to his appointment as Global CEO in January 2007, Jeff was Regional CEO for LaSalle’s European operation, based in London, where he was responsible for all aspects of the European business. Jeff has over 30 years of property investment and transactions experience across the globe.
Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree from Stanford University. He serves on the Management Board of INREV (European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles), and is a member of PREA (Pension Real Estate Association) and AFIRE (Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate).
Andrew Jeanes started his career with British Rail Property Board in 1980, moving to Jones Lang Wootton in 1984. Initially in the property management team, Andrew gained experience in asset management and open market investment, and was made a Partner of JLW Fund Management in 1990.
During his career he has managed several large private and public pension fund accounts, investing across all sectors and property types, and has raised and run both geared and ungeared development and investment funds. In that time Andrew has acquired considerable experience in fund structuring, third party debt, development and refurbishment, and forging relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the execution of business plans. He has also executed a number of portfolio exit strategies for both corporate clients and co-mingled funds in both the UK and Europe.
Andrew holds a BSc Degree in Estate Management, is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is registered as an Authorised Person by the FCA to conduct investment management activity.
Matt Jordan is a Managing Director in LaSalle’s Acquisitions group, with a primary focus on multifamily acquisitions in the eastern half of the US. He has been involved in all of LaSalle's multifamily acquisitions in the New York area and has completed transactions in 10 different markets since 2011.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 2010, Matt was a Senior Managing Director and Partner of Rockwood Real Estate Advisors based in New York City. While with Rockwood from 1999 to 2010, he provided underwriting, disposition, restructuring advisory and marketing services for real estate assets valued over $15 billion. Matt also completed investment sales in all asset classes with a primary focus on multifamily in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeastern US.
Matt earned a BSE in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council Board of Directors.
Lydia Kalia is responsible for the firm’s pan-European and Middle East communications strategy, working with in-country teams across Europe to enhance the reputation of LaSalle capabilities and raising the profile of LaSalle's individual teams. Prior to joining LaSalle, Lydia acquired significant experience in strategic communications and corporate reputation management. She worked across a variety of sectors such as asset management, property, and finance services, responsible for developing, maintaining and protecting the reputation of some of the industry’s largest companies and bodies.
Lisa Kaufman is Chief Executive Officer of LaSalle Investment Management Securities responsible for overall group management and a Portfolio Manager of U.S. accounts and the Global Specialty Sector. In her role as the Securities division CEO, she is a member of the Global Management Committee of LaSalle Investment Management. Ms. Kaufman also serves on the Global Securities Advisory Committee and the Portfolio Management Oversight Committee of LaSalle Securities
Ms. Kaufman joined LaSalle in 1994 and the Securities group in 1998. Throughout her career in real estate securities, Ms. Kaufman has covered and analyzed all property types in the listed universe. In 2016, Ms. Kaufman became the Portfolio Manager for North America and she continues to manage all US-only mandates. Most recently, Ms. Kaufman has expanded her portfolio manager role to include ex-US companies in specialty sectors such as storage, student accommodation and healthcare. In addition to her growing investment coverage, Ms. Kaufman expanded her managerial duties and became the CEO of the Securities platform in 2018. Prior to joining the Securities group in 1998, Ms. Kaufman worked in LaSalle’s private equity group where she focused on entity level investments in real estate, recapitalizing existing portfolios, private real estate companies and public REITs.
Lisa received an M.B.A in finance from Columbia University’s Business School and an A.B. in Urban Studies and Political Science from Brown University. Ms. Kaufman is a member of the Advisory Board of Governors and the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (REIAC) at Nareit.
Jason Kern joined LaSalle Investment Management in July 2013 as the CEO of the Americas and is a member of the Global Management Committee and North American Investment Committee. He oversees all investment activities and personnel in the Americas.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Jason founded and led HSBC Asia Pacific Real Estate. He has worked with Asia’s leading investors, advising on high-profile IPOs, and has overseen equity and bond issues, private equity raises and asset acquisitions and sales, with total transaction volume exceeding $50 billion. Prior to HSBC, he spent 17 years at J.P. Morgan, mainly in senior roles within the real estate investment banking team across the U.S., UK, Continental Europe and Hong Kong.
Jason is a member of the Board of Directors of both the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM) and the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE).
Jason earned an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BA from Colgate University.
Tim Kessler was the Global Head of Corporate Strategy and Development from 2017 to 2021 and is currently serving as the Global Chief Operating Officer. Tim is focused on identifying, evaluating and aligning resources to pursue organic and inorganic growth opportunities for LaSalle around the world. He works closely with LaSalle’s Global Management Committee to further develop LaSalle’s corporate strategy and to implement best practices and technology solutions across the platform to ensure the firm continues to provide industry-leading investment performance and service to its clients.
Tim brings more than 15 years’ experience in the real estate and finance industries to LaSalle. He spent 10 years at FPL Advisory Group where he led the management consulting business and served as a strategic, organizational, and financial advisor to clients across all sectors of commercial real estate. Prior to FPL, he worked as a consultant with ZS Associates and in Investment Banking at Bear Stearns.
Tim graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. degree in Economics, and earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Beverley is responsible for leading the operations of LaSalle France, overseeing the local acquisitions and asset management teams. Beverley is also co-Fund Manager of LaSalle's pan-European Value Add fund series. Beverley joined LaSalle in 2006 and has since worked in Asset Management, Acquisitions and several years in Fund Management based in Paris but with a European scope. Under her management over 50 assets have been acquired, developed, leased, financed, refinanced and divested in France, Germany, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Greece including over 30 round-tripped assets. Beverley has hands-on Asset Management and Investment experience from directly taking-on responsibility for the management and divestment of a selection of strategic value-add assets, leading LaSalle’s initiative to actively return to the Dutch market in 2013 on behalf of multiple clients and more recently several major value-add direct and joint venture investments in Paris.
Beverley is a member of the RICS and has been working in France for over 18 years.
John Kim joined LaSalle in 2015 as a Client Executive and is responsible for investment relationships with institutional Korean investors in regards to capital raising, cross-border strategic investment and product development.
Prior to joining LaSalle, John was with Samsung Life Insurance and Samsung SRA Asset Management where he executed various types of real estate transactions across North America, Continental Europe and Asia. Prior to that, he worked with KB AMC as an investment manager where he was in charge of overseas real estate investment.
John holds an MS in Real Estate from New York University and a BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University.
Amy Klein Aznar is the Head of Debt Investment and Special Situations team at LaSalle Investment Management and responsible for LaSalle’s market leading European debt platform. She is responsible for LaSalle Real Estate Debt Strategies II & III (£1.4bn in committed capital), LaSalle Residential Finance I - III (£846m in committed capital), LaSalle Whole Loan Strategies (€600m committed capital) and LaSalle UK Special Situations Fund and is on LaSalle’s European and UK Management Boards and chairs LaSalle's European Diversity Board. Amy re-joined LaSalle in 2008 and has spent more than 15 years at LaSalle/JLL.
Amy has a 20+ year track record of working in real estate principal investment, advisory and investment banking. During her time at LaSalle, Amy has raised over $4.4bn of capital commitments across the debt and special situations platform and completed over $3.4bn of debt and structured equity investments in 67 transactions since 2012. Her real estate debt investments include over £900m in mezzanine loans and £1.7bn in whole loans, including c. £900m in development lending. Amy has a solid performance track record across all funds for which she is responsible, with all funds meeting or outperforming target ranges since the platform’s inception in 2010.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Amy was a Managing Director of Global Principal Investments at Merrill Lynch in London, where she was responsible for transactions across Europe, including: the acquisition of a €13bn portfolio of non-performing loans and a loan servicing company from Banca Intesa in Italy, the acquisition of a €1.4bn non-performing loan portfolio from Dresdner Bank in Germany and the acquisition of a €741m portfolio of four German Shopping Centres. Prior to that, she was a National Director at Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance in London and at LaSalle Partners in Chicago. Prior to that, Amy worked for Morgan Stanley Real Estate in New York, in both the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund and its real estate advisory business. Amy has lived and worked in Europe since 1999, is a U.S. citizen and speaks English and French.
Amy has an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSE in Engineering from Princeton University (cum laude and sigma xi). She has been living and working in London since 1999.
Rich Kleinman is a Managing Director with LaSalle’s Research & Strategy team. He assists in developing investment strategies for clients, assesses market conditions associated with specific investment decisions, develops office market forecasting tools and monitors capital market conditions.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 2005, he worked at the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City and as a Strategy Consultant at the Monitor Group in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Melbourne, Australia.
Rich has spoken at conferences held by the Real Estate Research Institute, ULI, and National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, has published articles in the PREA Quarterly and contributed to the PWC/Urban Land Institute Emerging Trends Publication. He is currently co-chair of the NCREIF Research Committee. Rich received a master’s degree in Urban Studies from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics and American Studies from Williams College.
Brian Klinksiek is Head of European Research and Global Portfolio Strategies. He leads LaSalle’s European Research & Strategy team, and is responsible for forecasts of property markets, capital markets and metro economies across the region. Brian is a member of the Continental European Investment Committee and will join the UK and Debt & Special Situations Investment Committees. Additionally, Brian takes a leading role in establishing LaSalle’s global strategy outlook, relative value assessments and portfolio strategies. He works closely with the firm’s global clients and portfolio managers in developing and implementing comprehensive, integrated global investment strategies. Brian also leads the expansion and enhancement of LaSalle’s global analytical tools and support the firm’s capital raising and investor relations activities.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 2020, over nearly 17 years Mr. Klinksiek held various research and strategy leadership roles at Heitman, with diverse experience across a wide range of markets and property sectors in Europe, North America and Asia. He most recently served as Director of Strategy & Research Operations, based in Hong Kong, focused on global portfolio strategy and developing Heitman’s framework for global portfolio construction. Prior to that, he built and managed a new on-the-ground investment strategy and research capability in Europe for a period of 10 years. Brian began his career in Heitman’s North America business, focused on research analysis across a wide range of property types and risk categories.
Brian holds a BA with honors and distinction from Stanford University, and an MBA with high honors from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, serving on the Global Exchange Council and the European Office/Mixed-Use Product Council. He is a dual US and UK national.
Hagen Knaupp is Head of Asset Management for Northern Europe. He joined LaSalle in 2011 and has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. Hagen has broad experience in value-add properties and developments. He is also responsible for sustainability activities and a member of the Global Sustainability Committee.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Hagen worked as an Asset Manager for UBS Real Estate and as Project Manager for several office developments for Allianz Real Estate.
Hagen has a diploma in Architecture and Urban planning and is a member of the RICS.
Jason Ko joined LaSalle in January 2020 as the Head of Corporate Finance for the Asia Pacific region.
Jason is a senior executive with 28 years’ experience in leading and managing finance teams in the commercial real estate, banking and financial services industries, and has a proven record of accomplishments in building and expanding businesses and operations. Jason joined us directly from JLL Singapore where he was Head of Finance, South East Asia for almost four years. Prior to that he held similar regional finance roles with Tullett Prebon, and Principal Global Investors.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from The University of Melbourne, Australia. and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, having qualified with Ernst & Young in Australia.
Yuichiro Koyama has been a member of LaSalle’s Asset Management team in Japan since 2009. The team is responsible for the management and value add focused on office and residential assets in the LaSalle Asia Opportunistic Fund Series as well as Separate accounts.
Yuichiro he has more than 20 years’ experience in the real estate industry and has worked in asset management for 14 years, with a particular emphasis on office and residential sectors. He also has experience in the finance side and worked as a non-recourse loan lender for 3 years. Prior to Joining LaSalle, he worked for Securitized Product Group of Morgan Stanley Japan Securities for 3 years as a Vice President in the Asset Management Division of Morgan Stanley Capital KK for 6 years.
Yuichiro is a licensed certified real estate surveyor and real estate broker in Japan.
Philip is the CEO of Europe at LaSalle, based in London, and with overall responsibility for $22 billion AUM pan-European private business. He is also a member of LaSalle’s Global Management Committee.
Philip is a German national with 20 years´ experience in the real estate industry and has overseen over €11 billion of global real estate investments. He joined LaSalle in June 2018 as Head and CIO of Continental Europe and has a proven and distinguished reputation in the German and broader European real estate market. Prior to joining LaSalle, Philip was Co-Chief Investment Officer at Corestate Capital, and hespent eight years at Union Investment Real Estate in various leadership roles, including the Head of Investment Management Europe and later becoming the Global Head covering the Americas and APAC Region.
Philip studied Law at the Universities of Heidleberg and Freibur in Germany, and completed his Bar Exam in Düsseldorf Germany.
Chris is the Head of Research & Strategy for Canada. He is responsible for developing real estate investment strategy for the Canadian business and provides market analysis for existing and potential new investments. Chris has 22 years of commercial real estate experience in real estate research, consulting, portfolio management and brokerage, and is the author of a number of white papers and reports.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Chris was Manager of Portfolio Analysis & Research at GWL Realty Advisors. Prior to that, he led the industrial market research team at Royal LePage Commercial in Toronto. He also conducted real estate analysis and consulting work at Clayton Research and was a licensed real estate broker with CB Commercial.
Chris earned a Master of Applied Environmental Studies in Economic Development from University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University.
Chris Lawrence is the Director of Asset and Portfolio Management for LaSalle in Canada. He is responsible for the portfolio management of LaSalle’s Canadian Income & Growth Funds, with primary responsibility for investment and portfolio management for the fund series. Chris has over 30 years of experience in institutional real estate in a variety of roles including portfolio management, asset management and transactions. Prior to joining LaSalle, he served as Executive Vice President of Portfolio Management for Bentall Kennedy in Canada, where he was the co-portfolio manager of Bentall’s Prime Canadian Fund. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Oxford Properties, Riocan Real Estate Investment Trust and Morguard Investments.
Chris earned a Master of Urban Planning from McGill University and Bachelor of Economics & Political Science from Bishop’s University. He is a Chartered Surveyor with the MRICS designation.
Ben Lentz is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager with LaSalle Investment Management Securities focusing on the Global Retail and Global Industrial sectors. He also serves on the Global Securities Advisory Committee and the Portfolio Management Oversight Committee of LaSalle Securities.
Mr. Lentz joined LaSalle Investment Management Securities in January of 2000. Initially covering the self-storage and residential sectors, Mr. Lentz has also at one time or another held primary coverage responsibility for hotels, healthcare, student housing, single family homes, regional malls, shopping centers, triple net lease sectors in the united states and various other sectors in Brazil, Mexico, and Canada. In 2016 Mr. Lentz became Deputy Portfolio Manager for the US market and held the title Director of Research for the Securities Group. Most recently Mr. Lentz has become the Portfolio Manager for the global retail and industrial sectors.
Mr. Lentz graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University in 2000 and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Tal Lev-Ari is the Head of Operations for Debt Investment & Special Situations, responsible for Portfolio Management, Loan Asset Management Functions for LaSalle Real Estate Debt Strategies II & III (£1.4bn in committed capital), LaSalle Residential Finance I - III (£846m in committed capital), and LaSalle UK Special Situations Fund.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Tal ran the European Debt Asset Management platform (performing loans) for GE Real Estate where she oversaw a £3bn European loan book spanning across the UK, Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands. Prior to that, Tal managed GE Real Estate’s operating loans book and led the restructuring of multi-tranched and complex capital structure loans. Tal started her career at Lehman Brothers where she had established and headed two businesses – an Israeli desk for a Pan-European debt strategy covering the UK, Germany, France, Sweden and the Netherlands and an equity strategy in the CEE. During her years with Lehman Brothers, she has closed over $5bn real estate transactions covering equity, senior and mezzanine loans.
Over the past 17 years Tal has held various roles in leading financial institutions, ranging from origination to asset management and covering the full spectrum of the capital structure.
Chris Lewis manages the Transaction team in the UK, working with the Fund Managers and the Strategic Partnerships team to source, appraise and secure suitable investment opportunities across a variety of styles.
Chris rejoined LaSalle in June 2014, having previously been a partner at Cordea Savills from 2006 to 2014 and before that at LaSalle and JLL, where he joined in 1998. Since 2001, Chris has worked on successful acquisitions totaling over €2 billion across Europe, of which over £1 billion has been in the UK.
Chris is a Chartered Surveyor, a member of the Investment Property Forum and Approved under FSA Guidelines as a CSF30 (customer).
Steve Lieb is a Portfolio Manager for LaSalle’s custom account clients that invest in the U.S., a position he assumed in September, 2017. In this role, he is responsible for actively managing portfolios of office, retail, multifamily and industrial investments located throughout the U.S., while delivering strong investment performance that meets or exceeds client objectives. He develops and drives execution of individual portfolio strategies including selection of new investments, oversight of key property-level initiatives, financings and hold/sell decisions.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Steve has served in asset management and portfolio management roles over the last 20 years. Prior to joining LaSalle, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Heitman, where he focused on managing separate accounts for large pension fund clients across various property types and risk profiles, along with specific asset management responsibilities. Prior to Heitman, Steve was a Portfolio Manager at Equity Office Properties, with oversight of more than 50 million square feet of investments valued in excess of $13 billion.
Steve earned a B.A. from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
Linda joined LaSalle’s European Client Capital Group in July 2005 and is responsible for client relations and capital raising in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. She brings more than 20 years of industry experience to this role.
Prior to joining LaSalle Linda worked for four years at Bankhaus Ellwanger & Geiger in Stuttgart.
Linda holds an BA from Berufsakademie Mannheim (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW)) and MBA in International Real Estate Management from University of Applied Sciences Biberach.
Anne Lucking is a Client Executive within LaSalle’s Client Capital Group. She is responsible for creating and managing relationships with investors, clients and investment consultants from the UK, Ireland and the Nordic Region who invest in LaSalle’s products and services around the world. With over 30 years of experience in the property industry, Anne has extensive experience in the areas of investment management, company acquisitions, fund management of both unlisted funds/derivatives portfolios (multi-manager) and direct real estate commingled funds, direct and indirect transactions, development funding, direct development and asset management.
Anne joined LaSalle in 2004 from Aberdeen Property Investors / Barclays Property Investment. She initially trained and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor at Richard Ellis, now CBRE Global Investors.
Anne holds a BSc (Hons) Land Management from the University of Reading. She is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is registered as an approved person by the FCA.
Jamie Lyon joined LaSalle in 2006 as CFO / COO of LaSalle's UK and European operations. Jamie’s responsibilities extend to accounting and finance, tax, debt, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, human resources and, consequently, management of all European support services and infrastructure across LaSalle’s fund and separate account business.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Jamie was the European Finance Director of ProLogis Europe from its start-up in early 1998. With 18 years of international real estate experience, Jamie serves on the European Investment Committee and other internal LaSalle and industry committees.
He holds a BAcc from the University of Glasgow and is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with KPMG.
Daniel Mahoney is a Senior Strategist and Managing Director within LaSalle’s US Research & Strategy team. He leads the team’s US residential, retail, and niche coverage, working closely with LaSalle’s comingled fund and separate account clients to create and implement real estate strategy.
Daniel created several LaSalle micro-location selection tools, such as the STARS scoring system, location scorecards, and suburban school strategy filters. He is also the author and editor behind LaSalle’s monthly global macro indicators, real estate universe market size estimates, and regularly contributes articles for the PREA Quarterly and NCREIF Performance Report. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) Research Committee.
Daniel holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in Finance and Econometrics, and a BA from Dartmouth College.
Mathias Malzbender is the Head of Separate Accounts for Continental Europe. Based in Paris, he focuses on European strategies across the core to value-add risk spectrum and currently oversees the management of several accounts with total AUM in excess of €3 billion.
Mathias has 13 years of experience in European real estate. Previously he worked for Union Investment Real Estate for five years, where he held positions in both asset and investment management, most recently being responsible for acquisitions and disposals in France.
Mathias holds an MBA from the School of Business & Economics of Freie Universität in Berlin and qualified as a Certified Real Estate Investment Analyst with the German Society of Investment Professionals (DVFA) and the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS)
Julie Manning is a Portfolio Manager for domestic and international separate account clients investing in the U.S., managing both diversified and targeted strategies, across investment styles and property types. She is also the Portfolio Manager for a co-investment fund-of-funds, investing domestic and international capital in LaSalle-branded products globally. She joined LaSalle in 1997, working initially in the investor reporting group prior to transitioning to portfolio management. Prior to joining LaSalle, she began her career as a financial analyst at JMB Realty.
Julie earned a B.S. in accountancy from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois and holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Simon Marx is a Regional Director within LaSalle Investment Management’s European Research & Strategy team. His primary function is to monitor the UK and Continental European property markets. This includes defining fund strategies, identifying acquisition opportunities and bringing new sources of global capital to Europe. To this end, Simon works closely with several teams across London, Munich, Paris and elsewhere around the world.
Prior to joining LaSalle Investment Management in early 2011, Simon was Head of UK Analytics at the listed property information company CoStar, where he developed an independent analysis and forecasting service based on building-level data in the UK. Prior to this he was Head of Research at Close Investments. He also initiated European property forecasting at consultant Experian Business Strategies and spent his formative years in European research at CBRE.
Simon completed a BSc (Hons) in French and German at the University of Salford, followed by an MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance at the University of Reading. He is Chair of the Investment Property Forum’s Research Steering Group and also a former committee member of the Society of Property Researchers. Simon is fluent in four languages.
John McKinlay is the Chief Executive Officer of Canada and is responsible for all aspects of LaSalle's Canadian operations. He has over 20 years of experience in institutional real estate. During his career he has been involved in over $8 billion of real estate transactions and led over $5 billion over the last six years.
Prior to joining LaSalle, John served as Executive Vice President of Acquisitions for Bentall Kennedy in Canada. Prior to that, he was the co-head of Asset Management at GE Capital in Canada, where he managed a team of 14, managing institutional accounts and with direct responsibilities ranging from asset management to transactions.
John earned a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration from Willamette University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University.
Scott is a Managing Director and Director of Operations with LaSalle Investment Management Securities. He is responsible for oversight of the securities operations teams that include portfolio accounting, trading operations, performance and attribution, compliance and business systems.
Prior to joining LaSalle Investment Management Securities, Mr. McWilliams was responsible for the investment accounting at Old Mutual Financial Network in Baltimore, MD. For the six years prior to working at Old Mutual Financial Network, Mr. McWilliams was a Unit Manager at Investors Bank and Trust (now State Street Corporation) in Boston, MA.
Mr. McWilliams received his B.A. in Business / Economics from Lafayette College in Easton, PA. He joined the firm in 2007.
Sean Meehan is a Managing Director at LaSalle and serves as Portfolio Manager for JLL Income Property Trust, Inc. where he is currently responsible for overseeing asset and portfolio management functions for the company. Formerly, he was responsible for acquisition underwriting, structuring and management for a series of joint venture investments totaling $1.25 billion of equity commitments. Prior to that role, Sean held various positions on a $4 billion custom account, the most recent of which he served as an asset manager for a $120 million revenue industrial portfolio.
Sean began his career with the firm as an investment analyst in the corporate finance group at LaSalle’s parent firm, JLL. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois.
Paul Meierdierck is a Portfolio Manager of the Global Office, Residential, and Healthcare Real Estate Sectors. His position entails company and real estate market underwriting, in concert with the analyst team, portfolio construction and maintenance, as well as playing a key role in the firm’s thought leadership. Paul serves on the Portfolio Management Oversight Committee of LaSalle Securities.
Mr. Meierdierck joined LaSalle Securities in 2007. Over his tenure, he has covered and analyzed a diverse array of listed property companies, sectors and geographies. Mr. Meierdierck became Portfolio Manager in January 2020 following several years as a senior investment analyst, expanding his role to exercise greater discretion over day to day management of the portfolio. Prior to joining LaSalle Securities, Paul held several internships, including a position at a top global macro hedge fund.
Paul received a B.B.A in finance from James Madison University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Meierdierck holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
Andrew Meyrick is the fund manager of a sovereign wealth investor with a £630 million separate account mandate. Prior to this role, Andrew headed LaSalle’s Global Fund Structuring and Establishment team, responsible for the structuring and establishment of the firm’s commingled funds around the world. Between 2005 and 2011, Andrew coordinated the successful closing of some of LaSalle’s largest funds with an aggregate equity raise in excess of £4.43 billion, as well as bespoke club and single client vehicles.
Andrew joined Jones Lang Wootton in 1996 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in November 1998. He transferred to LaSalle in 1999, working for some UK institutional clients until 2003 when he moved to the Global Client Capital Group and specialized in commingled fund formation.
Andrew holds a BSc in Geography from Southampton University and an MSc in Land Management from Reading University. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an Authorised Person with the FCA to conduct investment management activity.
Tom Miller joined LaSalle in 2008 as the Head of Development for Asia. He and his team are responsible for executing all development and major construction projects for all LaSalle fund assets in Asia. Tom also serves as the Regional Sustainability Officer for Asia and oversees the regional environmental and physical due diligence processes for new Asian acquisitions.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Tom held numerous senior roles globally in the real estate and construction sectors including 13 years with Bovis Lend Lease in the UK, Spain, Singapore, Philippines and the US. Tom is active in regional industry organizations including ULI, ANREV, and APREA.
Tom holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, a master’s degree in real estate from the University of Hong Kong, a master’s degree in engineering administration from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Marc Montanus is an International Director and Fund Manager for the LaSalle Asia Opportunity Fund series. In this role, he works with the Chief Investment Officer to deliver fund performance from acquisition through disposition. Working with a dedicated team, he is also responsible for overseeing and executing all of the operational and reporting functions of the funds. Marc is one of two Executive Officers of the Fund.
Marc has been in the real estate industry for 21 years and worked for LaSalle in the US and Europe before joining the Asia Pacific business in 2001. He has worked extensively in different disciplines of institutional real estate investment management including acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, real estate securities and investor relations. Before assuming his current role in 2008, he was responsible for managing the Asia Property Fund, LaSalle’s core plus open-ended pan-regional fund in Asia Pacific, which significantly exceeded its return targets during his tenure. Prior to that, he was the Portfolio Manager for a regional separate account mandate, acquiring 10 direct and indirect investments in Asia, all of which exceeded their acquisition underwriting projections.

Gary Moore is responsible for the International Accounts Team focusing on cross border capital investment into the UK and European markets for LaSalle's existing and new institutional clients. In addition, he is a senior fund manager responsible for two value-add accounts – one UK and one Pan-European. He has over 27 years of experience.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Gary spent 14 years with ING Real Estate Investment Management (now CBRE Global Investors) in the UK as a Senior Director and Head of the Acquisitions and Development team. He was also a Senior Fund Manager and Head of Separate Accounts. Gary has extensive transaction and development experience throughout the UK, across the risk spectrum and through two economic cycles. He has a detailed understanding of value-add and opportunistic (refurbishment and development) style investments and transacted over £5 billion of real estate assets. He has developed and implemented successful strategies for several funds over the last 15 years.
Gary holds a BSc (Hons) from Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham and an MSc in Real Estate and Finance from Reading University. He is a Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Ryota Morioka joined LaSalle in 2007 and has over 10 years of experience in real estate investment. He has been responsible for creating and managing separate accounts/funds as a Fund Manager for Japanese domestic investors since 2013. Prior to this, he was responsible for debt financing and co-investment arrangement activities in Japan and building relationships with major Japanese Banking Groups.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Ryota was a Corporate Finance Manager at Living Corporation. He started his career with the Industrial Bank of Japan (currently Mizuho Financial Group) in 1996.
Ryota holds a BA in Policy Management from Keio University.
Richard Mowthorpe joined LaSalle in 2003 as the Compliance Director for LaSalle's European region with compliance responsibility for LaSalle’s four regulated businesses in London, Luxembourg, Munich and Paris.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Richard worked for KPMG as a regulatory consultant and held a number of compliance roles within HSBC.
Richard has an MSc in the regulation of financial services and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Joe Munoz is the Chief Investment Officer for the Income & Growth Funds, LaSalle’s flagship US value-add fund series and the President of Income & Growth Fund VIII. He is responsible for fund investment strategy and execution of investments, joint ventures and financings. Prior to joining the Income & Growth Fund team, Joe was a member of LaSalle’s Acquisitions Group. Since joining the firm in 2004, Joe has completed more than $5 billion in property transactions.
Joe has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Andrew is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for LaSalle Global Partner Solutions.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Andrew was Head of Operations and Deputy Country Executive, Malta for Alter Domus, managing the operations team responsible for the provision of company set up, administration, accounting, tax compliance and company secretarial services for RE and PE clients.Andrew re-joined LaSalle in 2018, where he had previously worked from 2008 to 2016. In his previous role he was responsible for supervising the finance function for LaSalle’s UK direct real estate and debt funds. Previously, Andrew spent six years at PwC, working on the audit of Land Securities and Barclays Private Equity.
Andrew is a chartered accountant (FCA) and holds a BSc in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Malta. He sits on INREV's Global Standards Steering Committee.
Anita Mustac joined LaSalle in October 2017 as a Client Executive within the Client Capital Group. She is responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients and prospective clients in Australia and New Zealand and is based in the Sydney Office.
Anita brings six years of investment banking experience, most recently at Fort Street Advisors, where she provided strategic advice to some of Australia’s largest real estate firms. She also worked with clients in the retail, healthcare and general industrial sectors to execute mergers, acquisitions and capital raisings. Anita is passionate about making a positive social impact. Prior to joining LaSalle, she also founded a digital health care platform (Dokotela) to connect rural and regional patients to specialist doctors via video conference. A lawyer by training, Anita started her career at Mallesons Stephens Jaques, before moving into investment banking.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
Mari Nagai is responsible for the asset management activities in Japan, focusing on logistics on behalf of the Japan Logistics Fund series. Mari joined LaSalle in 2008 and has over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry in Japan. She has worked with major domestic developers, non-recourse lenders and general contractors to develop various sizes of multi-tenant warehouses, leased up, and then disposed to core buyers at LaSalle.
Prior to joining the firm, Mari was a manager at Xymax Properties Corporation, one of Japan’s leading property management companies where she was responsible for supervising 11 people, property managers, engineers and accounting staff for asset value improvements.
Yas Nakashima is LaSalle's Representative Director. Since joining the company in 2002, he has successfully grown the Japanese business to US$5 billion in assets under management. Yas has over 20 years of experience in direct real estate in both Japan and the US. His experience includes development, acquisitions, asset management, property management, leasing and investment brokerage.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Yas was a co-founder of Prospect Development Corp, a New York-based developer specializing in public-private partnership developments. Before moving to the US in 1999, he worked as a project manager for Cosmos Initia Co., one of Japan’s largest multi-family residential developers. Before this, he worked with Xymax Co. as a property manager in Tokyo.
Yas has a MSc in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a BSc in Architecture from Waseda University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker (Japan) and a licensed Architect (First Class, Japan).
Philip Nell is the Head of Real Return Assets at LaSalle Investment Management with overall responsibility for approximately £2.5 billion of funds. He joined LaSalle in 2018 and has worked in the real estate industry for the last 25 years and the investment industry for over 22 years.
Prior to joining LaSalle Philip was a Fund Director in the Real Estate team at Hermes Investment Management. Prior to that, Philip was Head of European Retail Funds-Real Estate at Aviva Investors. Over the course of his career, Philip has been responsible for investment decisions on approximately £15 billion of assets, including around £5 billion of purchases and sales. The majority of his experience is in the UK direct real estate market, across all sectors, but he has also had responsibility for listed assets, and assets across Continental Europe.
Philip is a former member of the Governance and the Regulations Committees of the Association of Real Estate Funds, the Build to Rent Sub-Committee of the British Property Federation, and the Academic Faculty of the Investment Property Forum. He is currently a member of the MSCI UK Client Group, the RICS Commercial Property Forum and is the former Chair of the Investment Property Forum.
Akira Nishimura joined LaSalle in 2008 and is responsible for raising capital for LaSalle’s private and real estate securities funds in Japan. He developed LaSalle’s key distribution relationships for both real estate securities and private real estate funds and proactively seeks mandates from new clients. He has contributed to a significant growth of LaSalle’s real estate securities business platform which currently manages more than US$10 billion of assets from Japanese investors. As a senior relationship officer to institutional clients, he is also responsible for new business development in Japan and seeks for potential business partners for LaSalle.
Akira started his career at Fuji Bank where he spent almost 10 years in the US for asset financing areas including aircraft finance, tax-oriented lease, and off balance sheet financing for real estates, containers and other tangible assets. After he was relocated to Japan, he started his real estate investment career at Morgan Stanley Japan, where he was the credit officer for CMBS transactions. He joined Credit Suisse as an institutional sales representative for fixed income and alternative products including real estate funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, CMBS and CDO/CLO, to major financial institutions such as mega banks, central banks, life insurers and casualty insurers. He spent almost a year at Credit Suisse’s London office as a London Japan Desk Sales Representative before he joined LaSalle in 2008.
Akira holds a BA in Economics from Keio University and a Masters in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a Chartered Member of Security Analyst Association of Japan, Registered Real Estate Transaction Manager, a Certified Master with the Association for Real Estate Securitization and a US CPA, Maryland.
Nick Okumura was appointed Co-CIO for LaSalle in Asia Pacific in January 2021. He joined the firm in 2011 and most recently was Head of Acquisitions and Asset Management in Japan, a role he continues to cover.
He has over 23 years of Japanese real estate experience and completed over US$15 billion of debt and equity transactions across multiple asset classes.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Nick served as Principal at Westbrook Partners and Senior Vice President of the Global Real Estate Group at Lehman Brothers. During his tenure at Lehman Brothers, he executed various types of real estate deals including office, residential, hotel, retail, industrial and development, and completed multiple CMBS transactions.
Nick holds an MA in International Studies from the University of Washington and a BA in English from Kwansei Gakuin University.
Craig Oram is a Managing Director of LaSalle Debt Investors (formerly Latitude Management Real Estate Investors). He leads the originations team, with responsibility for the sourcing, pricing, structuring, underwriting, and closing of equity and debt investment across all commercial real estate property sectors. Since joining the firm in 2005, he has been directly involved in the acquisition and origination of over $3 billion in equity and debt investments. Craig serves on the company’s investment committee.
Prior to joining LaSalle Debt Investors, Craig was a Director in the New York office of Andersen Corporate Finance LLC, a middle market investment bank. He was responsible for mergers & acquisitions and structured finance transactions, as well as providing specialized corporate finance advice.
Craig received a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Economics degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
JB Park is the Head of CLient Capital Group and is based in Seoul. He is responsible for investment relationships with Korean investors involving in capital raising, cross-border strategic investments and product development. JB joined LaSalle in 2011 as an acquisition officer.
Prior to LaSalle, JB worked with the Alternative Investment Team at Standard Chartered Bank specializing in distressed debt/equity investment and as an acquisitions officer in the Global Commercial Real Estate Group of Lehman Brothers.
JB holds an MA from Cornell University and a BA in Foreign Studies from Hankuk University.
Cindy Parker is responsible for LaSalle’s use of information technology around the world. This includes shaping IT initiatives, developing and implementing IT strategy, shaping and overseeing implementation of system applications, ensuring availability and support of the firm’s technological infrastructure, and managing all technology spend. Prior to her current role, Cindy worked in JLL’s Information Technology Group where she was a liaison between the IT Group and the various JLL business lines including investment management, property management, tenant representation and capital markets. Cindy is a member of LaSalle’s Global Operating Committee and JLL’s Global Cyber Risk Committee. She has been with the company since 1986.
Cindy earned a BS degree from Iowa State University, serves on the Argus Advisory Council, and is a member of the Project Management Institute.
Erick Paulson is a Managing Director in LaSalle’s Acquisitions group and is responsible for office, industrial and retail acquisitions in the Western US. In addition to property acquisitions, Erick is responsible for formulating joint-ventures and other structured transactions with both private developers and public companies. He joined LaSalle in 1997 and has held a number of senior positions within the firm, including its Land Group and Development Group. Erick has experience with property acquisitions, including core, value-added and opportunistic, in all major property types in the Western U.S. He has worked with closed-end and open-end funds, opportunity funds, high-net-worth international investors and domestic separate account investors.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Erick was responsible for acquisitions in the Western US and capital raising in the Asia Pacific region for The Chase Manhattan Bank and Falcon Real Estate Investment Company.
Erick earned a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Gary Player is a Regional Director with 29 years of experience in real estate investment management. He started his career with the Fund Management team for a large pension fund, whose real estate portfolio was handled by LaSalle. Until 2001, Gary worked exclusively on Pension Fund Asset Management across both retail and business space. He gained experience in undertaking the refurbishments of shopping centers and multi-let office buildings along with acquisitions and disposals. He then broadened his role across a wider number of clients including charities and private individuals as well as UK pension funds. He began working on development projects as well as major refurbishments, leasing campaigns and other multidisciplinary projects. Having set up the UK Business Space team, Gary is currently driving LaSalle’s London initiatives on their central London portfolio of over £1.2 billion. Gary is accountable for formulating and implementing asset plans and has recently concluded over £10 million of refurbishment works. He is a member of LaSalle's UK Asset Management Board
Gary holds a BSc (Hons) in Land Management from De Montfort University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Anthony Potenza joined LaSalle in 2017 and is a Client Executive within the Global Client Capital Group. Based in New York, he is responsible for building and maintaining capital relationships with institutional clients throughout the United Sates and representing LaSalle’s public and private investment vehicles around the world.
Before joining LaSalle Anthony was a senior member of Willis Towers Watson’s Global Manager Research Group focused on underwriting and due diligence for real estate and private equity funds based in the Americas. Prior to WTW Anthony led acquisitions for a family of real estate private debt funds at both initial and secondary offerings. His career began in 2003 at a prominent New York fund of funds.
Anthony is a graduate of the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University in New York City and currently holds Series 63 and 7 licenses.
Marnie Prater became the Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer in July 2019 and is currently based in Singapore. She is responsible for HR, finance, IT, legal and compliance and operations for the region. Prior to her present role, Marnie was the General Counsel for Asia Pacific for over ten years having responsibility for all legal and compliance matters in the region.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Marnie was the General Counsel for a manager of a Singapore-listed real estate investment trust. Before that, she was a Senior Associate with King Wood Mallesons in Sydney and an Associate with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London. Marnie holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong, Australia. She was admitted to practice as a solicitor and barrister in New South Wales, Australia in 1999.
Demetri Rackos is the Global Head of Tax for LaSalle. He is responsible for managing the tax profile for LaSalle’s separate accounts and funds. Demetri brings over thirty years of tax experience, predominately in real estate, commercial finance, loan restructures and capital markets.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Demetri was a Senior Tax Manager for PwC in their banking and capital markets practice. Prior to joining PwC, he was Vice President and Tax Counsel at Heller Financial. In that role, he negotiated and structured and restructured transactions in Heller’s real estate, capital markets and loan workout businesses.
Demetri holds a BSc in Commerce, a Master’s of Science in Taxation and Juris Doctor. Demetri is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
Steve Ralff is a Managing Director, Product Strategist and Head of Business Development for LaSalle Investment Management Securities. As Head of the Business Development and Product Strategy team, Steve’s primary responsibility is focused on the development and implementation of the firm’s strategies and products as well as leading the innovation, planning and coordination of global business development, marketing and capital raising activities. He is a member of the Global Securities Advisory Committee.
Steve brings over 20 years of industry experience, and prior to joining LaSalle, was the Global Product Specialist for Blackrock’s Global Real Estate Securities Program where he was hired to help build their global real estate securities platform. In addition to BlackRock, Steve held marketing positions at Davis Advisors and J.W. Seligman and was an analyst with ING covering financial securities.
Steve received a BA in History from Tulane University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Security Analysts Society.
Richard Reese is an Acquisitions Officer and is responsible for acquiring office and medical office properties in the Eastern US with an emphasis on New York City. During his tenure with the firm, he has acquired properties valued at approximately $2 billion. He has been involved with complex acquisitions, including joint ventures, assuming and restructuring financings, and portfolios located in multiple states. Richard's prior experience includes working in JLL’s Healthcare group, where he provided the firm’s real estate services to investor clients and hospital systems. Richard also previously worked with JLL’s Leasing and Management group, successfully directing the leasing and management of a portfolio of office and retail properties.
Prior to joining JLL in 1986, Richard was employed by the Wilmington Trust Company in marketing and strategic planning positions.
Richard earned an MBA from Boston University and a BA from Drew University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Maryland and Virginia.
Mark is Head of Finance for the UK and leads the finance and operations activities for LaSalle’s UK clients, including accounting, reporting and tax compliance. Additional responsibilities include fund structuring and transaction execution from an accounting and finance perspective. Mark also oversees the firm’s Luxembourg accounting and finance operations. He serves on the UK business’ Client Operational Risk Committee.
Mark has 19 years’ experience working in the investment management industry, 16 years of which in real estate. He joined LaSalle in 2016 having spent over eight years at TH Real Estate (now Nuveen Asset Management) where he was Head of Finance for their pan-European funds platform. Prior to this, he worked in PwC’s London real estate tax team, advising a number of leading global private equity real estate clients on fund structures, acquisitions and disposals.
Mark has a Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, having qualified with PwC in Australia. He sits on the INREV Reporting Committee.
Uwe Rempis is the Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management at LaSalle Investment Management Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbh, LaSalle’s German AIFM in Munich. He assumed this role in July, 2016. From 2009 until June 2016, Uwe was Head of Asset Management for Northern Europe at LaSalle GmbH (Munich) where he was responsible for all sales activities within the region, the expansion of the asset management platform within the region as well as streamlining the pan-European property management setup. Uwe joined LaSalle in 2007 as Associate Director with the Acquisitions team in Munich, covering Germany and Scandinavia. In 2008, he took over asset management responsibility for the Nordics. He was a member of the Global Sustainability Board until 2011 and is a member of the European Asset Management Board and Diversity Board.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Uwe served 10 years at Allianz Real Estate in Stuttgart, Germany, where he worked as Asset and Transaction Manager
Uwe has a BA from the University of Nürtingen and is Immobilienökonom (ebs). He is a Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Gordon Repp currently holds the positions of General Counsel and Secretary for LaSalle Investment Management and Executive Vice President, Deputy Global General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, the holding company. Gordon is also General Counsel and Secretary of JLL Income Property Trust, a non-listed REIT advised and managed by LaSalle. In these roles, he provides legal, compliance, governance, risk management, and ethics advice and counsel to LaSalle’s global operations and the publicly traded, NYSE-listed firm and its operating subsidiaries. He has been with the companies since March 2001.
From August 1987 to March 2001, Gordon held various positions within the legal department of Outboard Marine Corporation, a publicly-traded, NYSE-listed global manufacturer and distributor of marine and marine-related products. He ultimately held the position of Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary until the bankruptcy and liquidation of the company in 2001.
Gordon received his JD from Northern Illinois University and his BA from Western Illinois University. He has served on the boards of various not-for-profit organizations.
Stuart Richmond-Watson is a Senior Fund Manager and has worked with UK institutional and private clients across a variety of fund sizes and styles. He is a member of LaSalle’s UK Investment Committee, a Trustee of the JLL Pension Fund and a member of its Investment Committee.
Stuart joined Jones Lang Wootton in 1973, then moved to the fund management department in 1988 where he gained experience in all aspects of running portfolios. Stuart is closely involved in formulating portfolio strategy and its implementation through purchases, sales and active management.
Stuart holds a Diploma in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Mike Ricketts is the Global Chief Financial Officer of LaSalle. His duties include financial reporting, planning and forecasting, communication with Global Finance and compliance with the various regulatory requirements to which the business is subject. Since joining the firm in 1989, Mike has held several finance related positions throughout the firm before assuming his current responsibilities in 1997.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Mike was Public Accountant with KPMG in Chicago.
Mike earned a BSc from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Stephen Robertson is Head of Acquisitions in Canada, based in LaSalle’s Toronto office. He is responsible for sourcing real estate investment opportunities on behalf of Canada Funds, as well as executing specific investment strategies for a range of custom client accounts, both domestic and international. He has 25 years of real estate experience in Canada and the United Kingdom, and has been involved in $5 billion of transactions over his career.
Stephen has held a variety of roles in asset management, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions over his career. Prior to joining LaSalle, he was responsible for capital markets activities at JLL Canada. Prior to that, Stephen was at GWL Realty Advisors, where he was involved in acquiring assets for funds and the corporate balance sheet.
Stephen attended the University of Paisley, Scotland and the College of Estate Management, England. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Joe Romenesko joined LaSalle in August 2015 and is responsible for all financial and operational aspects of LaSalle’s Americas business. Prior to joining LaSalle, Joe served as the Global Treasurer for JLL, where he had primary responsibility for the firm's treasury operations including banking relations, foreign exchange and global cash management. He also had responsibility for the firm's investor relations function.
Before joining JLL in 2000, Joe worked for eight years at Household International, where he held a number of Treasury positions, most recently as Director of Asset Securitization.
Joe has a Master of Management degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BSc from the University of Denver.
Tom Rose is responsible for portfolios with relative return investment strategies within the UK. He formulates and oversees the implementation of the strategic objectives of portfolios, including acquisitions, sales, sustainability and asset management initiatives.
Having joined LaSalle as a graduate in 2001, he has worked with a broad range, size and style of portfolios, including pension funds, endowment funds and geared vehicles.
Tom holds a BSc in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University. He is approved by the FCA (CF30: Customer) and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He sits on LaSalle's European Sustainability Taskforce and UK Investment Committee.
Loïc Sanières joined LaSalle in 1995 and is responsible for the asset management of the French portfolio and various separate accounts which includes office, retail and logistics properties. He manages a team of six asset managers.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Loïc was an Asset Manager at Societe Generale.
Loïc has a master’s degree in business law and international public law.
Darline Scelzo oversees all aspects of Human Resources globally for LaSalle. She is responsible for strategic hiring, employee relations, performance and talent management, management development, training, diversity programs, and change management. Darline has worked in various specialties of Human Resources since 1989. Areas of experience include recruiting, information systems, benefits administration, compensation and merger/acquisition activities. In 2002, she experienced an expatriate assignment to JLL’s London office where she led Human Resources initiatives on a European basis. Darline joined JLL in 1990 and moved to LaSalle in 2003. Previous positions within the firm include Vice President of HR Administration, Expatriate Administration Manager and Staff Selection Manager.
Prior to joining JLL, she worked for the Human Resources department of Chapman & Cutler, a law firm specializing in bankruptcy/workout, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.
Darline holds an MSHR from Loyola University with a dual concentration in Global HR and Compensation/Benefits. She also obtained her BA in Psychology from Dominican University. She is a member of Society of Human Resources Management and World at Work Compensation Association.
Steve Schnur is responsible for the asset management of retail properties located in the US on behalf of large custom account clients. Since joining LaSalle in 2004, Steve has been responsible for the management, leasing and repositioning of multiple classes of retail properties, including grocery-anchored, power centers and lifestyle properties.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Steve worked at Prime Retail, a developer and operator of outlet shopping centers, from 1994 to 2004. During his ten years at Prime, he held positions as Leasing Representative, Asset Manager, Senior Financial Analyst and Corporate Accountant.
Steve holds an MBA from Loyola College, a master’s degree in real estate from the Johns Hopkins University and a BSc in Finance from Towson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Maryland and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds their Certified Retail Executive designation.
Matt Schuler is Senior Vice President and Head of Global Communications, a position he assumed in 2020 after joining the firm as Head of Americas Corporate Communications in 2016. His oversight includes corporate, product and asset-level communications for LaSalle around the world and he is responsible for advancing the firm’s strategic messaging, brand perception, thought leadership profile and internal communication globally.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Matt spent 14 years working in communications and marketing leadership roles across a variety sectors, most recently with one of the largest retail equity REITS in the U.S.
Matt holds a BS from Ohio University.
Laura Schulze is Vice President, Client Executive in LaSalle's European Client Capital Group and is responsible for client relations in The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria.
She joined LaSalle in May 2013 in the Acquisitions Team covering the German and Dutch real estate markets.
Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Oestrich-Winkel (Germany) and a master’s degree in Real Estate from Cass Business School in London (United Kingdom).
Alistair Seaton is LaSalle's Business Support Director and is responsible for business development and business planning initiatives, working closely with the Head of UK and the UK Management Board to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the UK Business. His role also covers new business generation and he liaises closely with the Client Capital Group. Alistair joined JLL in 2001 and moved to LaSalle in 2004. Prior to taking his current role, he was Head of European Research & Strategy at LaSalle.
Alistair started his career at Investment Property Databank (IPD), now MSCI.
Alistair holds a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Edinburgh.
Chip Sellers is the Executive Vice President of LaSalle Debt Investors (formerly Latitude Management Real Estate Investors).
Prior to joining Latitude Debt Investors, Chip was a Principal at Prudential Carbon Mesa where he was chairman of the credit committee for the company and its funds. He was also responsible for reporting and compliance functions at PCM. From 1995 to 1998 he was Vice President and Senior Portfolio manager at ING Real Estate Investors and was the chief operational officer responsible for the Mountain AMD portfolio, which was one of two public-private partnerships in which the FDIC participated. Through the term of this partnership Chip was the FDIC’s primary contact on this portfolio. He was also responsible for the management and disposition of ING’s B piece portfolio, and worked with Glenn Sonnenberg to successfully obtain a Special Servicer rating for ING Real Estate Investors.
Prior to his work at ING, Mr. Sellers worked for First Nationwide Bank and was one of the two principals responsible for the formation of Mountain AMD and the sale of FNB’s interest in that portfolio to ING. His other duties at FNB included credit monitoring and his role as a lead participant on the real estate portfolio annual reserve reviews by the FDIC and OTS. Prior to his work at FNB, he was First Vice President of Security Pacific National Bank after beginning his career at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.
Chip graduated with honors from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, with a BA in economics and received his MBA in finance from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Matt Sgrizzi is Chief Investment Officer of LaSalle Investment Management Securities and Portfolio Manager of Global accounts and the Global Diversified Sector. In his role as CIO, he partners in running the Securities group with the CEO, Lisa Kaufman. Mr. Sgrizzi also serves as Chair of the Portfolio Management Oversight Committee of LaSalle Securities and is a member of Global Securities Advisory Committee.
Mr. Sgrizzi’s joined the Securities group in 2002. Throughout his career in real estate securities, Mr Sgrizzi has covered and analyzed all property types and regions in the listed universe. His previous responsibilities with the Firm include serving as Deputy Global portfolio manager, European portfolio manager and spent five years in the Amsterdam Securities office. Prior to his time in Amsterdam, he held responsibilities as an analyst in Baltimore covering US lodging companies, Asia Pacific listed property companies and overall global portfolio management.
Mr. Sgrizzi graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a B.A. in Finance. Mr. Sgrizzi holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Baltimore Security Analysts Society.
Becky Smith is the Chief Operating Officer for LaSalle’s Mexico business and is responsible for the investment performance and strategy execution for the LaSalle Mexico Fund and various separate accounts. She has worked on business efficiency enhancement initiatives for the Americas platform and in various portfolio and asset management roles in the US and Mexico.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Becky was employed by The Travelers where she was responsible for loan and equity portfolios including loan originations, workouts and dispositions.
Becky has her MBA from the University of Tennessee.
Glenn A. Sonnenberg is President and CEO of LaSalle Debt Investors (formerly Latitude Management Real Estate Investors). He has been directly responsible for the acquisition, management and/or disposition of over $6.0 billion of real estate and debt investments in the United States and Canada, as well as the issuance of over $1.0 billion in collateralized debt obligations.
Prior to joining LaSalle Debt Investors, Glenn served as Managing Director of Prudential Carbon Mesa, where he was co-CEO and the senior executive for funds management and served as acting-COO of the parent (NASDAQ:WMFG). Previously, he was President of ING Real Estate Investors and Executive Vice President of Kearny Street Real Estate Company (a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley), both opportunistic real estate investors and managers.
Glenn serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committees of Bet Tzedek—the House of Justice, Stephen S. Wise Temple, the USC Libraries Board of Counselors and Para los Niños. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the USC Gould School of Law Board of Counselors. He previously served on the Board of Trustees of the University of Southern California.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, B.A. 1977, History, magna cum laude, phi beta kappa, Glenn also received his J.D. in 1980 from USC. He began his career as a real estate and finance partner in the Los Angeles law firm of Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble and Mallory. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He frequently speaks on real estate investment and finance. He received the USC Alumni Service award in 2004 and the Bet Tzedek Lainer award in 2005 and the Jewish Federation Legal Division Maimonides award in 2015.
Ty Spearing is a Managing Director for LaSalle’s Income & Growth Fund Series. He has been responsible for all aspects of value-add asset management for a significant number of properties within Income & Growth Funds III, IV, V, VI, and VII. Prior to joining the Fund team, Ty was the Portfolio Manager for the LaSalle Florida Office Property Company, a closed-end value-add office specific and geographic specific Fund. Prior to that, he was the CFO/Controller for the first Income & Growth Fund.
Prior to joining the firm in 1993, Ty was a Senior Associate in the audit group at Deloitte in Chicago.
Ty earned a BSc from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Steve Spray is responsible for portfolios with absolute return investment strategies within the UK and is Fund Manager for the British Coal Pension Funds. He formulates and oversees the implementation of the strategic objectives of portfolios, including acquisitions, sales, sustainability and asset management initiatives. Steve is also a member of LaSalle’s UK Investment Committee.
Steve joined LaSalle in 1990, holds a Bachelor of Land Economy degree from The University of Aberdeen and is a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with over 30 years of industry experience. He is an Approved Person (CF30) by the Financial Conduct Authority, member of the Investment Property Forum and a Policy Board member of the Scottish Property Federation.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Steve worked at Whitbread PLC and Bass PLC.
Andrew Stanford is Head of UK Residential at LaSalle Investment Management, primarily responsible for the asset management of LaSalle’s c£400 million UK Private Rented Sector portfolio.
Andrew has over 25 years’ UK residential investment, asset management, property management and valuation experience. Much of this was gained as head of residential consultancy at Cluttons. Before joining LaSalle in April 2015, he headed the UK Government’s Private Rented Sector taskforce.
He chairs the British Property Federation’s Build to Rent committee, is a member of the BPF’s residential committee and the UK Government’s Build to Rent joint committee.
Michael Stratton joined LaSalle in 2011 as Head of Acquisitions for Australia. He has over 20 years of experience in the Australian real estate industry and has experience in valuation, asset management and acquisitions and completed over US$8 billion worth of transactions across all asset classes including residential, mixed use and office development.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Michael was the Head of Capital Transactions at Lend Lease and a Fund Manager for the Lend Lease Core Plus Fund. In that role, he helped increase the AUM of the Core Plus Fund from US$275 million to US$540 million between 2008 and 2010.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business in Land Economy from University of Western Sydney.
As Vice President and Head of Americas Communications, Scott Sutton is responsible for enhancing the reputation of LaSalle at the firm, product and asset-level throughout the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining LaSalle in 2020, Scott spent more than four years leading public relations for JLL’s Investor Services business lines where he developed messaging, elevated the firm’s profile and protected the JLL brand. Scott holds a BA from DePaul University.
Allan Swaringen is President and CEO of JLL Income Property Trust, a daily valued, perpetual life REIT managed by LaSalle and sponsored by JLL. Allan is responsible for all financial, investing and operational functions of JLL Income Property Trust and guides the overall strategic direction of the company. He formerly served as fund manager for the company since its inception in 2004. He has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, including a variety of leadership and investment management positions with LaSalle and other leading institutions. Allan has served as a speaker and featured panelist at numerous industry conferences.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Allan was partner with Crown Golf Properties, LP, a subsidiary of Henry Crown and Company. He began his career in real estate more than 25 years ago with Trammell Crow Company.
Allan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BS from the University of Illinois.
Stu Sziklas is the Head of US Custom Accounts at LaSalle Investment Management. He is responsible for $10 billion in AUM and is a member of the Americas Advisory Board.
Working closely with the Transactions, Asset Management, Research & Strategy, Client Accounting and Client Capital Group, Stu oversees the development and execution of individual portfolio strategies including selection of new investments, key property-level initiatives, financing strategy, and hold/sell decisions.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Stu spent twelve years at CBRE Global Investors, most recently as Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager responsible for large-scale separate account mandates. Before CBREGI, he worked in the asset management group of Beacon Capital Partners and previously at CBRE-NE Partners. Prior to CBRE, he served as the Head of Property Management for Aetna’s Corporate Real Estate Group.
Stu earned a BSc in Chemistry from Trinity College and an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut. He is a member of PREA (Pension Real Estate Association), NYPEN (NY Private Equity Network) and AFIRE (Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate).
Claire Tang is Co-CIO for the Asia Pacific region and heads up our Greater China business. She is responsible for managing acquisitions, development management, and asset management teams in Greater China and is also responsible for overseeing investment decisions in the Asia Pacific region on behalf of LaSalle managed funds and separate accounts. Since joining the firm in 2007, she has led and completed US$4.3 billion of commercial and industrial transactions. She has over 17 years of experience in real estate and investment management both in the US and China. Prior to joining LaSalle, Claire held investment roles with Jones Lang LaSalle in Shanghai and GE Asset Management in the United States.
Claire earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and HKUST and a BBA from Babson College.
Lynn Thurber served as Chairman of LaSalle Investment Management from 2007 through 2017 and CEO from 1994 to 2006. She is currently Chairman of the Board of JLLIPT. Lynn was CEO of Alex Brown, Kleinwort Benson (ABKB) Realty Advisors at the time of the merger with LaSalle Partners in 1994. Before joining ABKB in 1992, she was a Principal at Morgan Stanley working in real estate and asset management.
Lynn is currently Chairman of ULI’s Center for Sustainability and Economic Performance and a ULI global board member. She also served as ULI Global Chairman from July 2013 to June 2015 and ULI Global Governance and Nominating Committee Chairman from July 2015 through June 2017.
Lynn has a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Paul Till leads the National Business Space Asset Management team for LaSalle in the UK. He joined Jones Lang Wootton in 1987 as an asset manager, and later became a founding staff member of Jones Lang Wootton Fund Management, the pre-merger predecessor to LaSalle. Paul chairs the European Asset Management Board which devises analyzes best practice initiatives, systems reviews and upgrades, market trends, occupational leasing strategy, sustainability and compliance.
Paul graduated with a BSc from Greenwich University and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Elysia Tse re-joined LaSalle in 2016 and is the Head of Research & Strategy in Asia Pacific and a member of the Asia Pacific Investment Committee.
Elysia was previously the Head of Investment Governance, Strategy & Research Asia Pacific for Aviva Investors and subsequently the Head of Research and Strategy for J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Real Estate Asia Pacific (as part of the M&A). Before returning to Asia, Elysia has over a decade of experience in real estate investment research and strategy in the U.S. She has held positions in real estate research and strategy teams at BlackRock based in New York and LaSalle based in Chicago. Elysia started her career in Hong Kong in 1998.
She holds a B.S. from Xiamen University and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Cornell University. In 2011, Elysia was named a Rising Leader by Commercial Property Executive in the U.S. She sits on the Advisory Board of Cornell University Baker Program in Real Estate and the Research Committee of ANREV.
Jean-Paul Vignac is the Head of Finance for Continental Europe and leads financial reporting, accounting and controllership activities for both clients and the LaSalle business. He also advises on fund and deal structuring to maximize profitability and operational efficiency in liaison with tax and legal counsel. Jean-Paul has 29 years of experience in finance including 16 years in real estate.
Jean-Paul joined LaSalle from GE Capital Real Estate where he was Finance Director for Germany and Central Europe in 2000 and Italy and Spain in 2001. During this time, he was also responsible for the financial control of funds totaling €7.3 billion in Europe. Prior to that, he held senior positions at General Electric Real Estate, British Airways and Deloitte.
Jean-Paul holds a French Accounting Diploma, and graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Economiques et Juridiques Appliquées à la Construction et à l’Habitation. He is a Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Autorité des Marchés Financiers.
Betcy Vincent is a Portfolio Manager for LaSalle Global Partner Solutions, and is responsible for capital raising and investments for GPS clients.
Betcy joined LaSalle in 2017 and was responsible for the asset management of office assets for LaSalle Property Fund and complex joint ventures for multiple custom accounts. Prior to LaSalle, Betcy was responsible for the asset management of office, industrial and multifamily assets at Zurich Insurance as well as the workout and restructuring of multiple portfolios. Betcy also worked with Wafra Investment Advisory Group in acquisitions and the fund raising efforts for a US multi-family fund. Prior to her real estate career, she worked in Mergers and Acquisitions with a Fortune 100 company.
Betcy has over 20 years of investment experience both in real estate and corporate M&A. She is a key relationship manager for some of LaSalle’s institutional clients, and has experience investing across a broad range of risk profiles and product types in major U.S. markets, as well as mixed use development in India.
Betcy holds an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, a dual Masters Degree in Business Administration and Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, India. Betcy has lived and worked globally in Saudi Arabia, India, United Kingdom and speaks multiple languages.
Matthew Walley is a Client Executive within LaSalle's Client Capital Group. He is responsible for serving institutional clients in the Western US and Canada. Matthew brings over 20 years of marketing and client services experience to this position.
Prior to joining LaSalle Matthew served as Vice President of Institutional Services at WP Carey & Co, where he headed the institutional marketing and client services department. Prior to that, he worked in strategic marketing at Unilever in Toronto, London, New York and Amsterdam.
Matthew earned an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and an MA from Oxford University, England. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association, the State Association of County Retirement Systems (California) and the California Association of Public Retirement System.
Philip Wardle joined LaSalle in 2008 as Co-Head of Retail Asset Management for in-town retail properties in the UK. In 2010, he became sole Head of the Shopping Centre and High Street Retail Asset Management team. He is responsible for providing specialist asset management and investment retail advice across the UK Funds, advising on a large number of purchases and sales. He also works closely with the Special Situations team, providing advice to banking institutions on retail loan solutions.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Philip worked for Liberty International PLC, Hammerson PLC and DTZ.
Philip holds a BSc in Land Management. He is a Professional Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Andreas Wesner is Head of Investment in Germany and is responsible for managing the Investment Team based in Munich, sourcing opportunities for various mandates and overseeing the investment process. He has over 19 years of real estate experience in the German speaking D/A/CH countries and has completed over EUR 15 billion of equity, debt and NPL transactions across multiple asset classes. Andreas joined the firm in 2016.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Andreas served the previous four years as Head of Transactions at AXA IM - Real Assets. During his tenure he executed EUR 3 billion of acquisitions, including office, residential, hotel, retail, industrial and development and EUR 2 billion in dispositions.
Andreas holds a MSc in Business Management and a BSc in Business Administration, both from the University of Muenster and qualified as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) with the CAIA Association.
Paul White is a Managing Director in the Acquisitions group. He is currently responsible for industrial acquisitions in the Central and Western parts of the US including Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Since joining LaSalle in 1995, Paul has participated in the formation of over 60 industrial development joint ventures with total invested capital of $2.5 billion developing projects in major markets across the US and Canada. Paul has recently completed numerous industrial acquisitions and development joint ventures throughout the US on behalf of core and value-add clients.
Before joining the Acquisitions group in 1999, Paul served as head of LaSalle’s internal Valuations group. Before that he worked for two years as a commercial real estate appraiser and eight years as an industrial real estate broker in Chicago.
Paul graduated with an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago and a BS in Business Administration from Illinois State University. He also has held the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation since 1998.
Chris Wilson is the Head of North American Acquisition Due Diligence and is responsible for LaSalle’s Acquisition due diligence activities in North America, covering US, Canadian, and Mexican private equity investments.
As group leader of LaSalle’s North American Due Diligence group, Chris has worked on closed transactions in excess of $30 billion in total asset value, including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, and hotel acquisitions. Chris is a member of LaSalle’s Global Sustainability Committee, serving formerly as Global Sustainability Officer where he was responsible for development and implementation of LaSalle’s Global and North American strategic sustainability initiatives.
Chris holds a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard University, a BA from Oberlin College, and studied at the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in New York. He is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers, the American Institute of Architects, and has served on various committee’s within the US Green Building Counsel, as well as on the Performance Committee for the Urban Land Institute’s Greenprint Center for Better Building Performance.
Dan Witte is the Chief Investment Officer of LaSalle Global Partner Solutions and oversees a series of co-investment and joint venture vehicles, with a broad history of investment experience including structured equity, development and operating joint ventures, distressed debt, recapitalizations, senior and junior loans and public securities.
Dan serves on the North American private equity Investment Committee and the North American private equity Advisory Board. He joined LaSalle in 1992 in the Acquisitions group where he served until 2006.
Dan received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BS in Finance with highest honors from the University of Illinois.
Manuel Zapata joined LaSalle in 2007 as Chief Investment Strategist for Mexico. In 2014, he became Chief Administrative Officer of Mexico and oversees the day-to-day operation of the business in Mexico as well as the overall profitability of investments.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Manuel was a Senior Underwriter at GE Real Estate and was the Senior Equity Analyst for the Retail Sector in Mexico for Citigroup.
Manuel has a BA from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. He earned the CFA Charter in 2000.
Mr. Zehner is responsible for setting the strategic direction of LaSalle Global Partner Solutions as well as overseeing its day-to-day operations. He is a member of LaSalle’s Global Management Committee.
Jon joined LaSalle in 2012 as Global Head of the Client Capital Group and a member of the Global Management Committee. In 2016, he became Global Co-Head of the Client Capital Group. In these roles, he was responsible for, leading LaSalle’s global activities relating to clients, capital raising, new product development and large-scale, cross-border strategic investments. Prior to joining LaSalle in 2012, Jon was a Senior Director at AREA Property Partners responsible for client relationships, deal origination and strategic development. Jon joined AREA Property Partners in 2009 from JPMorgan where he spent 28 years and held several senior positions including Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking and Head of sub-Saharan Africa.
Jon serves as Chair of the Cambridge Land Economy Advisory Board of the University of Cambridge, as a Trustee and recent European Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors of the Urban Land Institute. Past industry activities include founding and serving on the Executive Board of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) and serving on the British Property Federation’s Policy Committee. In addition, Jon serves on the Board of Governors of Arnold House School in St. John’s Wood, London and as the Chair of the UK Board of African Parks. Jon holds an MBA from Harvard and an AB in Economics from Dartmouth.
