Mathias Malzbender is Managing Director in the Investor Relations Team at LaSalle Investment Management. He leads a team focused on building and strengthening institutional client relationships in Europe, representing LaSalle’s global products and strategies.
Mathias is also shaping business strategy in Europe through new product development and serves on the Global Investor Relations Management Board.
Previously, Mathias held various leadership positions in direct and indirect private equity investment management, overseeing teams responsible for managing in excess of €4 billion of real estate assets. His extensive experience includes €5 billion in acquisitions and disposals across 30 transactions in Europe and the UK, spanning both mainstream and alternative sectors.
Mathias holds an MBA from the School of Business and Economics at Freie Universität Berlin and has completed INSEAD’s General Management Programme. He is a Certified Real Estate Investment Analyst in Germany and holder of the AMF certification in France. Additionally, he contributes to the industry as a member of INREV’s Operational Real Estate Committee.
