David Doherty joined LaSalle in 2006 and was appointed to the role of Americas General Counsel in April 2017. David is responsible for all legal and compliance matters in the Americas, as well as global legal and compliance matters relating to LaSalle Securities.
Prior to joining LaSalle, David served as in-house counsel at Cboe Options Exchange where he worked on a variety of matters requiring interaction with the SEC, and participated in the creation of the Cboe Futures Exchange where VIX futures are traded. David began his legal career as a corporate law associate at Dow, Lohnes & Albertson in Washington, D.C.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame.
