Saya Li joined LaSalle in 2020 and currently is a Director in the Debt and Value-Add Strategies team, where she heads up the portfolio management function for all debt and special situation mandates. She is also focused on capital raising initiatives related to the Debt and Value-Add team, working closely with senior leadership and client capital to develop future fund strategies and fundraising efforts.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Saya spent seven years in CBRE Capital Advisors’ EMEA Equity Placement and Corporate Finance business, focused on private equity placement and strategic advisory for real estate related strategies. She led key workstreams in over €2.8 billion of closed transactions across EMEA, covering the full spectrum of risk-return profiles and real estate sectors in various structures (JV, Club deal, Co-mingled fund, etc.).
Saya received a MSc in Real Estate from Henley Business School and also holds a BSc in Investments from Zhong Nan University of Economics and Law. She is a CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association) charterholder and currently sits on the CAIA London Executive Committee. She also serves as the Secretary General of the Britain China Real Estate Association.
