Stefan Damberger joined LaSalle in 2012 and is Head of Risk Management and Compliance in Germany. He is responsible for all regulatory topics of LaSalle’s German Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM). Stefan is adept in the regulatory environment of German real estate investment management companies and the funds they administrate (both open- and closed-ended AIFs). He is an authorized representative of LaSalle KVG and its parent company, LaSalle GmbH. Since 2015, Stefan has been a member of the Board of Directors that manages LaSalle’s regulated vehicle (AIFM) in Luxembourg. Stefan is also a member of LaSalle’s Global and European legal and compliance team.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Stefan worked in the real estate audit department of PwC and as fund controller and risk manager at PGIM (formerly Prudential Investment Management).
Stefan studied at the University of Passau (Germany) and Le Mans (France) and has a Master’s in Business Administration. He also studied Real Estate Economics at the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) at the University of Regensburg (Germany). He is a native German speaker, and also speaks fluent English and French.
