LaSalle Global Partner Solutions

LaSalle Global Partner Solutions (LaSalle GPS) offers investors access to global investment opportunities across the risk spectrum by partnering with expert real estate operators through a variety of investment vehicles.

Capabilities

LaSalle GPS is an open architecture real estate investment platform that offers a range of opportunities across private, public, debt and equity quadrants. We aim to deliver durable, long-term income and attractive total returns through investments in funds, joint ventures, co-investments and secondaries.

Investment Approach

We take a broad opportunity set and a disciplined investment process to build portfolios that meet client investment objectives while adhering to their risk tolerances. Our ability to move across geographies and sectors, and from equity to debt, provides opportunities to better capture alpha as market conditions evolve. Our broad relationships across the world provide excellent peripheral vision as to market activity, valuation trends and operator capabilities – something available only due to the broad scale of our operation.

Team and Experience

LaSalle GPS is managed by 40 dedicated professionals working in expert teams located in Chicago, New York, London and Singapore. The team provides local on-the-ground real estate expertise, sourcing and asset management capabilities while taking a disciplined investment approach built on detailed market research and analysis to manage risk.

Competitive Advantage

LaSalle GPS follows an investment philosophy that takes advantage of deep knowledge of the markets in which we operate, enhanced by a thorough understanding of the macroeconomic environment. We benefit from LaSalle's 40-year track record and institutional investment expertise and we leverage our affiliation with JLL, one of the largest and most successful real estate services companies in the world. Our extensive network drives a high-conviction, relative-value investment approach. By seeking and capturing value, wherever it can be found, we are well-positioned to focus on delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns for our clients.

Investment Strategies

Fund Investments

Fund investments with aligned expert real estate operators can form the nucleus of an investment program by providing expeditious access to well-established and well-run portfolios.

Co-Investments

The breadth of our business platform provides access to co-investment opportunities worldwide, investing alongside fund managers and operators where significant capital is aligned with our commitment.

Joint Ventures

Our relationships provide opportunity to partner with expert and aligned real estate operators in projects across the risk spectrum, from core to opportunistic strategies.

Secondaries

Our business provides opportunities to acquire interest in funds, both on an opportunistic deeply-discounted basis, and also as a way to accelerate investment into a fund that may have a long investment queue. In either case, our clients benefit by capturing value not available in the normal course of property acquisitions and fund investing.

Holistic Mandates

We believe the optimal way to invest in real estate is to take advantage of both the variety of expert operators across the globe, and to utilize the breadth of investment vehicles available, including private equity, public equity (REITs), private debt (senior and subordinated mortgages) and public debt (CMBS/RMBS). This allows us to compare real-time relative value across the sectors and geographies to locate opportunities with the best risk / return metrics.
