David Ironside is the Fund Manager for Encore+, LaSalle's Continental European open-end real estate fund. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Fund. David has held numerous senior positions for LaSalle across Continental Europe over his long tenure including Investment Officer of LaSalle’s Continental European Business, Managing Director of the LaSalle GmbH and Head of Strategic Partnerships in Continental Europe.
Prior to joining LaSalle David spent four years at Bayernfonds/Real I.S. AG, the subsidiary of Bayerische Landesbank, and was responsible for foreign acquisitions.
David holds a BSc in Land Economics with Commendation from Paisley College of Technology. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Marianne Hemon-Laurens is the Deputy Fund Manager for Encore+. She is responsible for overseeing the fund’s asset management, sales and fund business planning and client reporting. She as been part of the fund team and dedicated to Encore+ since 2009.
Prior to joining LaSalle in 2008, Marianne worked as a portfolio management and acquisition analyst on a large pension fund with assets throughout the UK.
Marianne earned a MSc in Real Estate from Reading University and BSc in Natural Sciences (Economics, Business & Geography) from Durham University in England. She is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
Alexandre Arhuis-Grumbach is the Transactions Manager for Encore+, responsible for overseeing all acquisitions for the Fund. He joined LaSalle in 2010 working as a financial analyst on a Pan-European Value-Add fund and was subsequently an acquisitions manager in France.
He earned a MSc in Civil Engineering from French school ESTP, a MSc in Real Estate Management from Glasgow Caledonian University. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

LaSalle will develop the first hybrid timber office building in Munich on behalf of Encore+, its flagship pan-European fund (“the Fund”), in collaboration with ACCUMULATA Real Estate Group (“Accumulata”). The planned sustainable building will be developed in Munich, at Elsenheimerstrasse 31, a partial development of a site owned by the Fund and acquired in 2019.
LaSalle has acquired a modern residential asset in the centre of Berlin on behalf of the Encore+ Fund. This is the first residential investment since the inception of Encore+ in 2006.
LaSalle Investment Management (“LaSalle”), the global real estate investment manager, today announces the sale of the “Sainte-Cécile” office building in Paris to Deka Immobilien for €165 million. LaSalle Investment Management, the global real estate investment manager, announces the acquisition of an urban logistics facility north of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, on behalf of its pan-European fund Encore+, which increases the Fund’s exposure to the Dutch logistics market, one of the biggest in Europe. The asset has been acquired from ULP Bleiswijk B B.V., a joint venture between USAA Realco Europe B.V. and Somerset Capital Partners B.V.
