Overview: LaSalle’s Luxembourg office was established in 1999 and is composed of 20 people in total, with a mixture legal, accounting and administration professionals.  The office provides accounting, legal, company secretarial and regulatory services for a number of LaSalle funds and international separate account clients.  The Luxembourg team works side-by-side with LaSalle’s fund management and finance teams across America, Europe and Asia.

 

Role and Accountabilities: 

The principal responsibilities will be:

  • Bookkeeping for a portfolio of Luxembourg companies across several LaSalle funds and separate account mandates
  • Reporting (quarterly and annually) under Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS
  • Production of stand-alone management accounts and financial statements
  • When required, production of other bespoke financial information from time to time, including debt covenant reporting, cash flow forecasts and budgets
  • Liaise with auditors and provide all supporting information, files and explanations
  • Preparing and providing information for tax advisors as required, including responding to queries
  • Management of other external service providers
  • Assist in the process of liquidations.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fluent in English and French
  • Knowledge in Lux GAAP and real estate accounting
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP would be an asset
  • Strong work ethic and positive 'can-do' attitude with ability to meet deadlines and take initiative
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Outgoing personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Like to work in a small environment within a large international organization
  • The role involves working with teams across the LaSalle network and some European travel may be required
