LaSalle Investment Management is seeking a full-time Research & Investor Relations Analyst to join the LaSalle Canada team in Toronto. This Analyst will dedicate roughly 66% of their time to the Research & Strategy team and roughly 33% to the Fund Marketing team by:

  • Compiling data, communicating and forecasting real estate market conditions, contributing to presentations, market analyses, forecast models, helping with analytics tools;
  • Assisting in the preparation of written investment recommendations to communicate investment strategy;
  • Contributing to marketing and investor communication efforts of the firm including communications with existing and prospective investors
  • This role requires a creative, organized candidate who has strong writing skills, good Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and is skilled in quantitative analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret macro-economic and property market data
  • Prepare detailed market analyses for potential acquisitions, covering real estate supply, demand and rent growth, a property’s positioning relative to competitors, and local economic trends
  • Develop and maintain charts summarizing economic and real estate data and forecasts for regularly updated publications.
  • Identify trends in financial, property market, and asset-level datasets and assist with predictive data analytics tools
  • Handle contact with investors via phone or email relaying information and coordinating requests and responses; Triage and direct questions to appropriate corporate spokespeople
  • Prepare, write and edit investor content regarding performance, financials and various other news pertaining to LaSalle’s Canadian real estate investment funds
  • Support the business development and marketing efforts by contributing to various presentations and investor materials
  • Specific responsibilities will be commensurate with experience

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a leading school in Economics, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Real Estate or other relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent writing and other communication skills
  • Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • A demonstrated interest in real estate is desired - knowledge of economics, finance, statistics, commercial real estate
