LaSalle Investment Management is currently seeking a Product Owner/Senior Business Analyst with a background in real estate or investment management and technology to help maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their asset management systems and processes. This position will sit between the business users and the IT service providers and play a key role in implementing and supporting leading edge technology and identifying innovative ways to further leverage their existing asset management applications. This role requires in depth knowledge of the asset management function, a solid technology foundation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and working knowledge of effective project management practices.



  • Build strong relationships with the business to gain a thorough understanding of the business goals, processes, operations, and challenges
  • Deep analysis and research is required to inform build/buy/change decisions around solutions.
  • The Product Owner forms the bridge between business need and technology delivery
  • Acts as a liaison between IT and the business for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems
  • Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements
  • Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems
  • Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives
  • Performs a range of assignments with minor supervision
  • Uses experience and judgement to analyze and resolve problems
  • Receives a minimum level of guidance and direction



  • Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the real estate or investment management industry
  • Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies
  • Familiarity with and understanding of finance, accounting and investment analysis principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Self-motivated; able to set and maintain priorities while working toward multiple operational goals
  • Desire for continuous improvement of system processes and procedures
  • Understanding of and commitment to superior client service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be disciplined, flexible and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Scrum Product Owner Certification or experience working in an Agile environment strongly preferred
