Team Overview:  LaSalle Global Partner Solutions (“GPS”) is a new vertical in the LaSalle Investment Management organization that manages c. US$10bIn in client capital and invests with local operating partners and managers across the world.  GPS investments span the risk spectrum and are implemented through fund investments, co-investments, joint-ventures and separate accounts. 

GPS takes a fundamental approach to investment and a relative value approach to global portfolio construction.  As a long-term investor, thematic trends are also a focal point.  Because we often have the opportunity to invest in both equity and debt, and in listed markets (primarily REIT securities) in addition to unlisted property and fund interests, we have the opportunity to compare asset classes to discern where better values are available. 


Role and Accountabilities: The primary objective of the role is to provide business analysis and support for technology initiatives. The Business Analyst will work with the LaSalle GPS business community to understand their requirements and work together to design, build and deliver technology solutions to meet those needs. The person must have experience working with business users on business requirements and business applications like Yardi, Argus, Kyriba. This need will include gathering business requirements and business metrics, mapping business functionality to system capability, supporting user testing and user training.


Business Analysis (60%)

  • Lead client sessions to define the user’s business requirements.
  • Represent business sponsor in discussions with vendors.
  • The elicitation and documentation of business and system requirements.
  • Assisting with technical and process design.
  • Working with developers to provide fit for purpose solutions.
  • Helping ensure appropriate test conditions are well defined and documented.
  • Testing and troubleshooting of proposed solutions.
  • Building effective working relationships with operational and technical teams.
  • Analysis and interpretation of complex data to evaluate progress and project success.
  • Implementation and configuration of proposed solutions.
  • Work with client/business to develop and deliver training plan for proposed system rollouts.


       Product Expertise and Administration (30%)

  • Develop in-depth understanding of LaSalle Yardi environment and GPS setup.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments, features and capabilities across the GPS product portfolio.
  • Investigating with BTG team, new formats, and technologies for delivering business solutions to the user community.
  • Administer systems like Yardi and Data Collection Portal for GPS business line.


         Relationship Management (10%)

  • Develop & maintain relationships across with key stakeholders.
  • Develop & maintain relationships across JLL technology and product groups.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with third party vendors.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience
  • Experience working with accounting systems and IT concepts in a similar role.
  • Experience working with global corporates would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with Yardi.
  • Good working knowledge of Yardi
  • Understanding of Accounting concepts and procedures.
  • Ideal, but not necessary Business Analysis qualification.
  • SharePoint knowledge.
  • Microsoft tools, including Office Suite.
  • Strong communication; excellent English written and spoken communication.
  • Managing self and relationships with others.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Self-motivation and commitment to deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team working and co-operation, including dispersed/virtual teams.
  • Analytical thinking and judgement.
