Objective of Role: 

LaSalle Securities is currently seeking an Business Development Analyst to join our Product Development team in Baltimore to support global capital raising and client service activities.  The Business Development team is responsible for sourcing and developing new business opportunities, raising capital from existing and new clients, developing new products and client service.


  • Provide support in sourcing new institutional clients and ongoing client service
  • Assist with preparation for periodic meetings and product reviews
  • Respond to regular and ad-hoc queries
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative data to consultants on a monthly basis
  • Assist in fulfilling internal and external clients’ requests and inquiries
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain details of existing and prospective client and consultant interaction in the Client Relationship Management (CRM) System
  • Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposal), RFIs (Requests for Information) and DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires):
  • Interview subject matter experts and write tailored RFP/RFI/DDQ responses to articulate the firm’s capabilities and competitive advantages
  • Organize statistical data in order to comply with RFP/RFI/DDQ requirements
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to proposal deadlines and requirements
  • Lead editing, publishing, quality control and production of all RFP/RFI/DDQ documents and presentations
  • Manage and maintain responses in RFP Master Library:
  • Write, develop, organize and regularly update RFP content
  • Create and/or update firm profiles on consultant databases
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the business’ investment process, risk management and operations
  • Lead ongoing continuous improvement of the proposal process and content as well as best practices in the field


Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of directly related experience
  • Experience in the investment management business 
  • Prior experience completing RFPs, RFIs, and Due Diligence Questionnaires
  • Desired Capabilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organization skills and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literate in all Microsoft Office applications; Bloomberg skills are a plus
