Separate Accounts

We have a large and longstanding separate account business investing in private real estate.  Across the globe we manage 38 separate accounts, whose mandates range in size from $20 million to $5.2 billion.  Our separate accounts are tailored to meet individual client requirements which cover core, value-add and opportunistic strategies.  For the majority of our clients we have a true fiduciary role and provide a fully integrated service comprising strategic research, acquisitions and dispositions, portfolio and asset management, accounting and finance.

On behalf of three clients we invest in private real estate across all three regions in a combination of regional separate accounts, LaSalle-managed commingled funds, and other unlisted real estate funds.

Commingled Funds

We have extensive experience in developing and managing pooled funds across the globe.  Currently, LaSalle operates 26 separate pooled funds globally, representing more than $18.8 billion of equity committments from institutional and high net worth investors around the world. Our pooled funds range in size and investment objectives from pan-European, North American or Asian diversified funds, such as the LaSalle Euro Growth II Fund, LaSalle Income and Growth Fund series and the LaSalle Asia Recovery Fund and LaSalle Asia Opportunity Fund series, to niche targeted funds, such as the LaSalle London Office Fund, the LaSalle Medical Office Fund and the LaSalle Japan Logistics Fund.  In all of these cases we have responded to a market opportunity identified by the combination of our Research and Strategy Group and our on-the-ground investment management teams.

In addition, LaSalle also manages separate accounts investing in unlisted real estate (a “Manager of Funds” service).  The strategies of these accounts differ and can cover unlisted indirect, unlisted and listed together, and may also include direct property.
