Jones Lang LaSalle Named to Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies To Work For” List Printer Friendly Version

Jones Lang LaSalle is only real estate money management and services firm on list
Chicago, Jan. 8, 2007 – Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL) announced today that it has been named to FORTUNE magazine’s 10th annual list of “100 Best Companies to Work For.” Ranked 66, Jones Lang LaSalle is the only real estate money management and services firm to achieve this honor.

This prestigious list is compiled annually for FORTUNE magazine by the Great Place to Work Institute in San Francisco based on two factors – an evaluation of each company’s policies and culture, and the opinions of the company’s employees.  The employee opinions, which account for two-thirds of the score, are obtained through anonymous responses from a minimum of 400 randomly selected employees. The 57-question survey addresses such factors as attitudes about management and job satisfaction.  The remaining third of the score is based on an evaluation of the firm’s demographic makeup, pay and benefits programs and culture. Companies are scored in four areas:  credibility, respect, fairness and pride/camaraderie.

“Both our culture and our company’s success demand that we attract talented people; provide them with the resources they need to be the best and serve our clients well; and keep them engaged, motivated and satisfied throughout their careers,” said Peter Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas. “The great thing about this award is that our own people are telling us we’re on the right track. We’ll continue on that path, making our firm an even better place to work in the future,” Roberts added.

Jones Lang LaSalle was ranked 15 for compensation and tied for sixth place for its job growth of 26 percent.

“This award earned by our people in the Americas reflects the way we run our business around the world,” said Colin Dyer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jones Lang LaSalle. “We intend to be the best in our industry, offering our clients superior advice, solutions and results. Being a best place to work – everywhere we operate – is essential to attaining that goal,” Dyer said.
