LaSalle Investment Management (“LaSalle”), a member of the Jones Lang LaSalle Group, today announced the appointment of Chris Langstaff to Vice President, Research and Strategy for its Canadian operation. Langstaff is based in LaSalle’s Toronto office.
Langstaff reports to Jacques Gordon, Global Strategist. As Vice President, Research and Strategy, he will be responsible for real estate market research and investment strategy for LaSalle’s clients investing in the Canadian market.

Langstaff brings over ten years of professional experience in commercial real estate, with a strong emphasis on research and market analysis. Most recently, he spent six years as manager of analysis and research services at GWL Realty Advisors Inc., where he developed and managed all aspects of the firm’s research program. He also served as a senior analyst of industrial research at Royal LePage Commercial, Inc., where he led and managed the Toronto industrial research team, coordinating all aspects of research on the industrial real estate market in the Greater Toronto Area.
Langstaff holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson Polytechnic University and a Master of Applied Environmental Sciences in Local Economic Development from the University of Waterloo.
