LaSalle Investment Management has been authorized by the German regulator
MUNICH January 28, 2015 – LaSalle Investment Management has been authorized by the German regulator to act as an external alternative investment fund management company (AIFM).
The firm will now operate under the name LaSalle Investment Management Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, in place of its previous name, LaSalle Investment Management Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH. LaSalle has been active in the German market for 15 years - since 2010 as a regulated German Investment management company - and has seen a significant expansion of its German business in recent years. Capital commitments so far total €1 billion, with three funds under management in the structure with a current assets under management of €1 billion. The firm expects that once all commitments are invested, assets under management in the country will total more than €1.5 billion. In total, LaSalle Investment Management has approximately $53 billion of assets under management.
