Jacques leads LaSalle’s Research and Strategy team, analyzing capital markets, economies and property around the world. He serves on the firm’s Management Committee, the Investment Committees for Asia and North America and chairs the Global Research Board of Jones Lang LaSalle. Before LaSalle, Jacques was Director of Research at Baring Advisors. He taught portfolio management at New York University and was a research economist at the Urban Institute in Washington DC.

 

In 2000, he received the Graaskamp Award from the Pension Real Estate Association for his contribution to institutional investment research and strategy. He has a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Paul Guest is Head of LaSalle's Asia Pacific Research and Strategy team of 7 people who support the Fund at all stages of the investment process – investment thesis, acquisition, asset management and disposal. Mr. Guest recently joined LaSalle from Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was Global Head of Capital Markets Research, and before this he was Head of EMEA Research. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Guest was Chief European Economist for Moody's Investors Services.

 

Alistair Seaton is Head of LaSalle’s European Research and Strategy team of 9 people who are responsible for the strategy for over €10 billion of property assets. His principal function is to identify opportunities in European property markets and to formulate strategies for investors to exploit those opportunities. Alistair is also responsible for developing new ways to analyse markets and managing portfolios.

 

Prior to joining LaSalle Investment Management in 2004, Mr. Seaton was a Senior Analyst in European Research at Jones Lang LaSalle. During this time he provided international investors with market monitoring reports, market selection recommendations and investment strategy advice on a pan-European basis. Before joining Jones Lang LaSalle, he spent 3½ years at Investment Property Databank (IPD), as an account manager. His responsibilities included providing portfolio analysis and benchmarking services to UK property company and insurance company clients. Alistair completed a BSc (Hons) in Geography at the University of Edinburgh. He is a member of the Society of Property Researchers, and also a member of the Investment Property Forum and sits on their Research Steering Committee. He is registered with the FSA as an Investment Adviser.

 

Robin is part of LaSalle’s European Research and Strategy Team of 9 people who are responsible for the strategy for over €10 billion of property assets. His principal function is to identify opportunities in European property markets and to formulate strategies for investors to exploit those opportunities. He is also responsible for developing new ways to analyse markets and managing portfolios.

 

Dr. Goodchild has over 35 years’ real estate experience. He joined the Advisor in 1997 as Research Director, prior to which he was a partner at Gerald Eve, Chartered Surveyors for 12 years. He has been involved in property investment since 1985 and specialises in devising practical portfolio strategies that deliver the required returns and developing practical ways to analyze the risk profile of real estate portfolios. Dr. Goodchild has also been involved with the strategy for all of LaSalle’s European funds since joining the company.

 

Dr. Goodchild holds both Doctorate (1979) and Masters (1975) degrees in land economy from the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, honorary President of the Society of Property Researchers, a member of the scientific committee advising the first Professor of Real Estate at ESSEC, Paris, a trustee of the RICS Education Trust, a recipient of an Achievement Award from the European Real Estate Society, and is a frequent speaker at property conferences across Europe.
