LaSalle Investment Management secures 12 year lease for “Le Viala” property in Paris 
 

Acting on behalf of LaSalle French Fund II, LaSalle Investment Management (“LaSalle”) has signed a 12 year firm lease with DCNS, a leading European provider of naval defence systems,  for the 12,349 m2  "Le Viala" property located in Paris’ 15th arrondissement, 42 rue du Docteur Finlay.  The property was handed over to the Fund in October 2009 after a complete rebuild undertaken by BNP Paribas Immobilier and Ogic as co-developers. 

The property is one of the first Parisian buildings to undertake HQE Construction certification, which recognises environmentally friendly construction projects in France.  LaSalle Investment Management is now undertaking HQE Exploitation certification (equivalent for property operations) with the cooperation of DCNS through the use of a green lease.

The parties were advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate.
