LaSalle Investment Management (“LaSalle”) continues its focus on growth and expansion in the Asia Pacific region with the hire of Andy Yee as Analyst for its Securities business in Hong Kong, where he will be based.
This latest new hire follows on Todd Canter’s relocation to Hong Kong from Baltimore in early March to become Asia Pacific CEO for LaSalle Investment Management (Securities), LaSalle’s specialist securities division, at a time when the company is seeing strong growth in the region. Globally, LaSalle Investment Management has $USD50.4 billion of assets under management which includes LaSalle Investment Management (Securities’) global AUM of USD$6.4 billion.
Mr. Yee’s primary responsibilities rest with the analysis of Asian listed real estate companies. Prior to joining LaSalle, Mr Yee was a Senior Portfolio Consultant for AXA Wealth Management in Hong Kong.
Commenting on the hire, Todd Canter, CEO LaSalle Investment Management (Securities) Asia Pacific, said: “We are delighted to have Andy join our team. With his appointment we now have six investment professionals focused on Asian real estate securities. Our strength is derived from our on-the-ground presence in all the major real estate markets around the globe and Andy’s addition to the team signifies our commitment to providing local insights into Asian real estate securities.
Mr Yee holds a bachelor of business administration degree in finance and information systems and management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. |
