Investing in the future

Buildings have a major impact on the environment, during construction and in daily operation and maintenance. LaSalle recognizes the role that real estate investors have to play in supporting enlightened development and refurbishment.

As we learn more about how buildings impact the environment, we are improving the way we evaluate investments, factoring in current and future regulations while promoting best practices in the management of properties and portfolios. Over time we are committed to advancing sustainability and assuming a lead role in improving our environment.

Leading LaSalle’s initiatives, our Sustainability Taskforce includes people from across the business who promote the highest standards of sustainability in the acquisition and management phases of our investments. The Taskforce works to ensure we meet or exceed clients’ expectations on this issue. Notably, many recent LaSalle projects have achieved the highest levels of environmental and sustainable certifications in their respective countries.
