While the company has roots reaching back to the nineteenth century and has been an institutional fund manager since the 1970's, LaSalle as we know it today was formed when Jones Lang Wootton and LaSalle Partners merged to form
Jones Lang LaSalle in 1999. The respective fund management divisions merged to form LaSalle Investment Management.
